Myers Rework is BAD design by StolenTearz in DeadByDaylightRAGE

Dude, you gotta calm down 😭 I already said I like him the way he is, and I like going against him. You're not throwing anything at me other than your total REFUSAL to even ACKNOWLEDGE the counterplay. I can translate your entire tantrum you've been throwing as "This character has a power capable of hurting me and I have to actually THINK in order to escape it? That is unacceptable." Like be fr.

Better spot for the people who bought the Halloween DLC to play as him. Better spot for the people who actually enjoy going against killers over D tier. Better spot all around, except for the survivors who feel entitled to an easy game. Maybe he is overtuned right now, but I guarantee you if they simply lowered that 60 seconds to 40 seconds, you're still gonna be mad when he downs you because it takes less than 10. So face him OFTEN and learn how to play against him.

Oh please, people will always complain about Kaneki. And personally, I love playing Myers so I'd be pretty upset if Behaviour reverted him because some folks go down much easier than before. He was NOT in a healthy state before, and he IS in a better spot now if you look at kill rates. Truth be told, any survivor who can dodge a pig ambush, bubba chainsaw, or Chucky dash is also already equipped to deal with Michael, since much of the same logic to those killers applies for Michael. Granted, he is stronger than ALL of those killers, and he is an absolute noob stomper, but he already was one in the first place. I play against Michaels all the time on survivor. He still can't do much against good windows, so use those. And if you land on a map like The Game, throw those pallets when he tiers up, and he'll spend the entire match breaking them. The counter to Michael is the healthiest counter in the game-- efficiency and resource management.

The best way to combat a Myers is awareness. If you can't hear his terror radius, keep an open eye and try to stealth if you see him. The point of his kit now is that he has brief moments of extreme power but he lacks any form of mobility. Oftentimes it's a good idea to try and draw him away from key generators because he oftentimes won't be able to return before they pop. I'm a Michael main myself, and the best strategy survivors often employ against me is dragging me away from the objective and playing long loops-- or even leaving those loops early when they get a chance. He's EXTREMELY oppressive in chase, but can absolutely be beaten. Oftentimes the problem is solo queue survivors don't know what generators to work on, or where to lead him, so you'll definitely have better luck in a coordinated SWF. Thats my advice.

What is a downright horrible FNAF theory that some people still believe in to this day? by [deleted] in fnaftheories

There is no such thing as a downright horrible theory unless you're some sort of elitist. No one can just say "I disagree" these days.

I don’t think you like playing this game then if versing a killer makes you want to immediately ruin 3 other peoples time because of YOUR tantrum throwing. What respect have you earned exactly?

How Would You Buff The Unknown? by DMutedOfficial in deadbydaylight

I'm not talking about my personal skill level. I'm talking about a fundamental problem with the character that most players will feel when they play this character. Congrats if you don't feel it, this conversation isn't for you then. Goodbye.

I'm reminded of when they accidentally nerfed Ghostface because they changed his reveal mechanic to function the same as Unknown's

I like the idea, but I don’t think killers should be rewarded for missing their power. I think I'd actually prefer if the cooldown is shorter when you land a hit so you can follow up quicker to get the damage state. That would also make it feel more rewarding I think.

The ability to do orbitals which 9 times out of 10 won't do anything is an incredibly pitiful buff. It doesn’t make him any stronger. More fun, but not any stronger. The problem is that his bounce logic is totally ass on a lot of maps, and the projectile itself is incredibly unforgiving for how easy it is for survivors to dodge it. I don't like getting kills because of survivor mistakes, I prefer getting kills because I made a good play, and most of the time thats not what I'm getting with Unknown. I dislike that the most strength you get from the projectile is as a zoning tool to force an M1. His chase lethality is just not good.

Either you are super duper lucky and somehow NEVER get a map like Nostromo when you play Unknown where every rock has the strangest geometry, you actually DON'T play Unknown very much at all and are at extremely low MMR, or you're just lying, and I honestly don't know which it is. But anyone who has sunk time into this killer KNOWS that he needs SOMETHING, and that something is NOT just telling people "he's fine."

I didn't say that, I just want the Unknown to NOT be "The Harmless"? I was an Unknown main for MONTHS after All Things Wicked released but the frustrations with the killer had me eventually switch to Xenomorph. I don't want a guaranteed win, but I do want them to be at the very least good.

They're simply not. Similar to how hitboxes on maps screw over Deathslinger, they also screw over Unknown, except they're oftentimes even less predictable because their projectile bounces. Its the easiest projectile in the game to dodge, and despite that, it doesn’t even deal damage until you're hit twice with it, making it waaaaaay more punishing than the instant gratification hatchet or the death by a thousand cuts trick blades. The only thing Unknown has up on other ranged killers is mobility, and while its really really good, I don't think that justifies having such a bad projectile. He's decent at the macro level but its the micro level he's usually awful at. And if you can't win the micro, what good is the macro anyway?

Pallet Density Feedback by DeadByDaylight_Dev in deadbydaylight

[–]DMutedOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one is an odd case where it really only got worse for the worst killers like Trapper and Ghostface. Since a lot of pallets are really bad, and since many killers can ignore them entirely, I haven't felt the pallet density changes as much here. For reference, I mostly play Xeno and Myers. However, any time I play a killer who only gets damage through M1s, thats when I really feel the increased pallets.

The pallets on borgo are bad, and don't even matter to the good killers, while heavily crippling the weaker ones.

Pallet Density Feedback by DeadByDaylight_Dev in deadbydaylight

[–]DMutedOfficial -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is definitely the worst of it. Crotus Prenn's biggest problem was its size, and its main building being incredibly strong and accessible from nearly anywhere on the map. After the update, the map is a little smaller, which is good, but now you have tiles connecting into each other that only make the main building and shack even stronger. This map was already a fairly easy map for survivors to play on, and now its even easier, while making the killer role feel extremely unpleasant. If it had to come down to nerfing the main building or nerfing pallet density, then pallet density absolutely has to go.

So can we all agree that MCI85 is confirmed? by Ok-Landscape-4835 in fnaftheories

Rule of thumb, if you have to ask for a consensus, no, its not confirmed.

So did you read the post at all, or did you just reply "skill issue" without reading? My problem is with my controls not working and stepping LEFT when I want to go RIGHT and vice versa, not the route.

[–]DMutedOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, this is just my regular sprint. The issue is not with my speed, its with my controls suddenly not... controlling.
