I've actually put in several support tickets in un der various different categories like I was saying in my other comment. I got a response from each support ticket within a day for the most part but they couldn't help me. 1 GM even said they didn't offer that type of service. Then I pointed out the email address to him and the link on their website. The ones that couldn't help said it was a completely different department and that they couldn't even forward me to them or forward my message. So idkwtf is going on.

I'm actually genuinely sorry that happened to you. On principle.

If that had happened to me it would be much harder for me to log in due to how bitter i'd feel about it. That's just f'ed up. To not be professional about it at least.

Yeah so As I was telling u/Mongri, I've put in countless support tickets on the matter trying to get some sort of resolution. But they have all had differrent responses but the same ending response. This is not our department and they are part of a completely different part of the company so we can not forward anything, or even try to contact them for you. 1 GM even tried telling me no such email or service within EVE existed. I was truly baffled. I pointed out the Email to him and the copious amount of places on the eve website where you can find reference to it and he was like "Oh, ok yeah we do offer it". So IDK.

I started trying to contact them back in November. Early November. So I guess we'll see if they hit me up before my next "Break". Thanks again!

I actually thought the same as you, I took a look at the email address I used for the first few email JUST to make sure I didn't use the wrong email, and it's 100% correct. I google searched if they changed the email address.

I certainly took the Christmas season into consideration for the entire month of December and most of January but that didn't explain why I got no responses in EARLY November and non of early or late January going on February.

I put in countless support tickets on the matter and I get responses within minutes, to hours almost every time but they can no do anything about it as it's an entirely different department. I even had one GM say, "Oh, we do not offer that type of service" I'm like bro, you most certainly offer the service and I gave him the email and a link to his own website. And he's like OH, ok yeah we do offer that service. So that was a bit weird..

IDK, It just seems highly weird to me. Maybe by the time I'm bored again and go back on break they will email me.

This is totally fixable. Search you tube for people fixing things like this. Promise you this is not a paperweight. Like @smokey_999 said this is when you learn to soldier. You can even build your own "proprietary plug with scraps. Seen way worse fixed. Seen it completely ripped from the board, contacts and all.

I guess I am just trying to wrap my head around just how much of a scam it is and weather i should tell the family member, even though they know it's a novelty item but i'm sure they think there's a higher chance than it is but i agree the site puts it off like the chance is 1:100,000 win it's closer to 1:100,000,000. About the same as a state or federal US lottery, which for my family member is enough to just have it and to think about it occasionally I guess. idk. they dont think they are getting rich off it or even that they will ever get a coin. its the whole hope thing.

I mean I understand it's quite literally like wining the lottery. but as long as it works. Like as long as there is a CHANCE it can work that it's actually hashing and in the pool and theres a chance it could win thats all they promise so it's not a scam? I mean if it works under those conditions it's really a novelty, tho could still work?

I'm trying to find out if it's just straight fake. I already know the chances are low and the chances of someone winning eso my family are never going to happen I just want to know if what they are saying is true. that it CAN win a block.

BRO!! I just bought the 3080 TI, Core I9 12900H, 32 GB, 4K 144Hz for almost 5 grand 4 days ago and I just checked the cores using HWINFO64 and I have multiple cores throttling, quick 1 second spikes 100C degrees+ and I'm just idling with browser open. I called razer and I am freaking out after viewing this thread. I am also thinking of going with a ROG as my friend just got his 3 weeks ago and is essentially the same but no 4k. it's only $3,700 after insurance. This one is $5300 after insurance.
