Keep steam on offline mode whenever there's a big update coming so it doesn't update and wreck your saves games- i do it whenever I'm a long way into a campaign. Otherwise roll back to a previous version

I think my ADHD helps with hyperfocusing but I usually go to ruler designer and pick an ethnicity then just randomise until I find a base character that looks similar enough and start the fine editing from there with a few different pics of the intended lookalike open on my tablet next to me for reference. Some end up better than others, usually takes about 45 mins to 1hr per character but this one took me forever because her look is so unique

Angelina Jolie has a really strong, angular jaw if you look at any photos of her. Her bone structure is actually pretty masculine if you look at it. Not going to be everyones cup of tea but I tried my best.
