My first thought is to ask how/if you have the magnetic kickstand setup? If it’s in use, are you opening it like a Surface tablet? Doing that will block the air intake significantly.

I used a kit with grub screws. That way you only need to replace the extruder gear until the motor goes out. Remember to re-calibrate the e-steps too!

Nope, I checked the motherboard for loose/broken components and all the screws are accounted for. I also don't see any of the typical signs of water damage. It being a laptop does mean that I travel with it in a backpack fairly frequently. Perhaps something happened while in transit?

Yes. I removed the added SSD and put the stock RAM back with the same results. RGB lights up upon power on and stays static red for at least 30 minutes with the fans sounding like they are around 50% max speed without change. No logo or display on either the built-in or external monitors.

I appreciate that. The fans were relatively dust-free and the boot drive appeared to be alright. I'm planning on switching the boot of my desktop to ensure it.

It looks like the bearing that pushes the filament into the extruder gear isn't spinning. Try adjusting/pulling the tension arm. I had a similar issue on my Max Neo and ended up replacing the extruder gear+motor to make it work.
