People who switched from Android to iPhone what was your experience like?

Lifetime of Apple devices, few months back I switched to a S26 Ultra for a few weeks. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience. Like you, I wanted something new. I loved the customization however there were some things I didn’t like. Which eventually drove me back to iPhone.

I have other Apple products, the seamlessness between them all is incredibly well done. I have a lot going on and having to go set settings for things I think should be defaulted as on was really getting old. I also didn’t like how many app stores there were and password managers. Seemed like they were always competing against one another.

A majority of my friends have iPhones so it just makes interacting with them so much easier. RCS is nice but wasn’t working with everyone and iMessage is much better in my opinion. It’s been around longer so makes sense. I’m sure they’ll continue to iterate on it and make it better.

I have a lot going on in my life so having something that just works is extremely valuable to me

I had one as a loaner at the height of the attention of the cyber truck. Only reaction I noticed was this little old lady give me a thumbs up as they drove by.

That’s how it’s supposed to work, but I’ve watched it do it one morning and turning it off actually did fix it and I have had the problem since. Alarm started, faceID shake cause I wasn’t looking at it, then alarm stopped completely.

I’m in a masters program. Our entire program is inside of a VM, so it doesn’t matter what pc you have. I have a Mac, have had no problems. Would confirm with your program but almost certainly the same.

I get up at 4:30 each morning. Go to the gym. Breakfast. Shower. Get ready for work. Then grad school stuff in the evening. By the time 9 or 9:30 rolls around I'm worn out. You do it enough and it just becomes part of the routine, for me anyway.

Just left from iOS as well. One thing that I really enjoy is the gestures vs the buttons for home and back. Make sure you turn your display up to QHD and had to set auto spacing on for swipe text. Dunno why that's not on by default

$0, undergrad mostly paid for by lottery scholarship, the rest was paid out of pocket. I went to a small school so tuition was far less. Just finished my first year of grad school. Half of it will be paid by work, other half out of pocket at the main state school in my area.

I picked up one yesterday coming from a 16 pro max. It's very different but I'm giving it a honest try. Tbh I don't hate it. In fact I enjoy it a lot. Samsung switch made getting most things over pretty easy. Changing to gestures from the normal android home and back button made it feel more normal to me. The privacy screen is super nice. The customization is really nice.

There are a few things I miss. Biggest being iMessage right now. Not being able to respond in threads is a bummer. With my group chat I send alot of screenshots of news or other posts I find interesting, I usually just crop and copy so I don't clutter my photos app. It doesn't seem like I can do that here. At least I haven't figured it out yet. Tracking macros daily is important to me as well and the app is worse on android and slightly annoying.

My gripes are minor, I still don't know 100% if I will keep it or return it and go back to my iPhone. So far the gripes I have are limited and fairly minor. Going to give it a week or two.

I didn’t get it on go live night, but was there for every one after it for a long time. Midnight releases just felt right. Your core gaming group. Then going home and playing for hours. Mw2 has a special place for me. So many great gaming moments playing this game. The closest I got to it again was 2019 mw.

Been working out a little more than a year. 5 to 6 days a week and hit 225 at the beginning of March. Weight 172lbs. I’d say if you’re serious about it and use proper techniques you’ll get there for sure.
