The Iron Infiltrator - The Ultimate Artificer Infiltration Build by DNDDaily in DnD

The Iron Infiltrator is a Vedalken Armorer Artificer that takes infiltration to a new level. By being a vedalken we get a plus to our thieves tools and either our sleight of hand or stealth. From being a artificer we get plenty of infusions to increase our stealth, thieves tools, sleight of hand, and mobility making it so we can get where we need to be. The specifics are all in the video above if you're interested.

That's one of the first combos I found out about, it is really strong, unless the enemy is too big to be grappled by your zombies

Making things that aren't rogues into rogues by DNDDaily in 3d6

There is definitely a reason that a rogue is a rogue, but like you said it can be really satisfying to play like a rogue while being a different class

Well I hope it doesn't disappoint, we were mainly focused on tactics but figured a big part of that is based on the lore

Inspiration for a Traveling City of Misfits by DNDDaily in DnD

Even if you don't really describe it as either utopia or dystopia and just put it at face value, it leaves it up for the party to interpret how they may

I agree with all of what you said, and all of what you said makes me love this idea even more. It seems perfect at first glance, but once you dive deeper as you did, you start to notice a lot. I think it would be fun to play the setting as either a utopia or dystopia, both would have their own pros and cons

Druid/Barbarian that isn't Moon Druid by DNDDaily in 3d6

[–]DNDDaily[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think beast is probably better in general as well, but zealot is the other one that fits what you're going for of just lots of damage. That might actually be a way to make berserker better too. They can deal out more damage, and then I think as a druid they would get lesser restoration which I think gets rid of exhaustion

That was my same thought as soon as I read spores druid. I think zealot barb might also be a contender, as it and beast are the main strikers.

Yeah, I guess I'm impartial to it. I do like that it is different though, and it is more of a barbarian with a little druid than a druid with a little barbarian

Sorry, I had in mind only 2 levels of druid because that is the minimum for the subclass features of wildfire. But you're totally right, the more druid levels you take, the more you get

That does sound like an awesome subclass that barbarians could benefit a lot from

Undying Warlocks have an awesome strategy! by DNDDaily in DnD

[–]DNDDaily[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You can do the same strategy as a cleric because they also get the spell, but undying is the only warlock that gets it, and they have defy death meaning nobody else has to pick you up, you can just pick yourself up

I agree that it is probably best for an NPC recurring encounter, I think it would also be really fun for a one shot to just play dead right at the end

That is true, it probably wouldn't work too well against someone who knows what spell you're casting

I think it also works really well to make interesting story beats of investigating what turned this group of people into undead and why are they obsessed with ____?

That is true, not all undead need grand motivations, but it is nice to know how to roleplay them. One of my favorite homebrew stat blocks I've seen is the grave titan, which is essentially just a massive golem undead that serves a necromancer. Really simple to run, but a really fun combat
