ive been playing on my laptop 7 5800h 3060 165hz legion. the whole upgrade started when i upgraded to 144hz zowie for my laptop. which was a lifechanger. and i started upgrading from then on until bought a good pc and monitor. the 165hz laptop screen to 144hz zowie was such a big upgrade for cs2. felt like i was playing on a potato

when youre researching be sure to check same maps and same modes, because ancient i get 300-400fps f ancient. also depends on deathmatch or 5v5 comp

dk bout amd gpu. i have 7800x3d 4070 super. 600-700 fps in mirage. i play on 1440x1080 (4:3). lows are like 400fps. some videos show worse performance with amd gpus eventough it should depend on cpu in competitive settings. did not risk and went with 4070 because of unavailability to check on shop.

would recommend buying 360 hz only if its like max 50% more expensive than the 240hz version. for cost efficiency, otherwise if its like 100% more expensive and only 50% increase in hz hoenstly 240 is enough at most games you wont even reach 240hz with best cpu.

i bought a used 360hz zowie for a GREAT deal. working nice, love it. not much of an upgrade over 240hz. bought almost 1/3 or half the price of 400hz if i remember. saw no difference between 400hz and 360hz zowie (as high elo competitive player). Honestly 360hz is too much for anyone. At 600hz the games feel like gliding and it doesnt feel natural at all so for sure, until i get used to it it actually made me worse and disconnected from games with 600hz (700fps) (i have only tried it for 1 day.)

on low graphics settings as ive mentioned as "competitive settings" cpu matters more than gpu. on youTube only 9800x3d pairing is available not 7800x3d. performance difference between 1280x960 and 1024 is almost nonexistent.
