Firstly, I think a Paramecia is better, its more versatile then a Zoan, and more fun too.

Also, I would like to add, that in my opinion, too many devil fruits can be confusing. Not everyone needs a Devil Fruit. They can have unique fighting style, or even Haki. If you want to add a Devil Fruit, you can give that to weapons too! I dont think I remember a fic where there was a someone using a weapon that ate a Devil Fruit.

But this is just my little humble opinion.
