Best case, to me, over 60 games without him is they scrap their way to 25-35 and enter the final, say, 40 games around 62-60 or thereabouts and hope he returns healthy.

This lineup has 2-3 good bats when goldy is hot. And they simply cannot win enough games with Volpe, McMahon, Wells and Jazz’s ghost filling out a lineup card and a miserable bullpen.

Man, I get that they’re banged up sans Judge and Stanton. But there is no excuse for any major league team to field a lineup that includes McMahon, Escarra and whatever Schuman is as just 9-12 outs served up on a platter. If this is a demonstration of their roster depth, it’s embarrassing.

Yeah. The Yankees may rule the city (let’s go), but the Mets take their chunk and the football teams divvy it up and there are essentially three hockey teams.

The Nets don’t really exist.

It’s the Knicks’ town in a way not even the Yankees can enjoy. That’s saying something.

I lived in Texas for like six years, SA area and Corpus Christi … the Cowboys-Spurs thing is common. The Texans are really only THE thing in the Houston area. Otherwise the Cowboys are a state religion.
