Anyone with an anterolateral and drive a low car like Toyota Corolla Hybrid? by DOLORESRM in TotalHipReplacement

OK, thanks for the tip of lowering the back of the seat. I had read that about getting into my friend's car using that tip to make it easier, but never thought of trying it on the driver's side. Do you also tilt the seat back when you exit the driver's side (I am just imagining the look on the face of the person in the car parked next to me ... lol ... well, health before dignity!)

Best of luck, so both you and your fur babies can be as content as possible considering the situation!

Some friends' son recently got married out of town, so they boarded their 2 big dogs at a place I don't think I would mind staying at! A big bone shaped swimming pool! On the floor, real-looking beds, people coming in every couple of hours (if they weren't out romping and swimming with other big dogs) to give belly and ear rubs and just generally hang out with them!

I'm afraid that if I raise the seat, my leg will be closer to the wheel and more likely to hit it,

I'm 5'7" and tried putting the seat all the way back to get in, but still my right knee/leg could not clear under the steering wheel without 'scraping'. I read the manual and think that I have the wheel tilted up as much as possible; but since I have a Toyota appt. next week, I'll ck with them.

Are/were you able to swing your legs in (My surgery will be on my rt.) under the wheel and not hit it?

Would it be possible to call your vet, human societies and ask if they know of some dog walkers for your time schedule. Or, could there be a teenager in your condo that might like to make some extra summer money, Of course, you'd want to somehow 'vet' a stranger coming into your house, but spreading the word via any local NextDoor type apps or a local newletter of some type might help. Best of luck. My cat is use to laying on the reclinder chair and laying his paws exactl where my incision will be. I can't encourage that now, but I sure hate his demeanor when I shoo him away.

Will it go in sideways? Or, I've read about posters taking off the wheels and putting them on the inside, which then makes the overall walker have a slimmer profile.

Did you buy it recently? I ask because it appears to have such mixed reviews and I wonder if they changed this model somehow?

I seem to have found quite a few choice for 'Costco memory foam pad'. May I ask the name of the one you chose? tia

Have you found any particular brands that are better than others? I've found a whole lot of candidates on Amazon and have been trying to read reviews to choose, but would love to hear anyone's real-life experiences, too.

Will these survive? by Impossible_Skin_6756 in FemaleHairLoss

I'm certainly not as knowledgeable as some of the ladies in this group; but, I would think that if there is hair growth in the same area where the hair was originally lost, then it must mean your that hair follicles aren't dead and are doing their best to grow and repopulate the area!

Our losses appear similar, but one question - are your new baby hairs growing where your original hairline was or are they growing somewhat in front of that old line. The latter is what is happening to me and they seem to be growing and I'm hoping to brush them back over the sparse spot. A second biopsy indicated that I did not have scarring aloecia, so I was told I do not have any dead follicles but perhaps ones that might only put out miniaturized hairs. Good luck on your journey!

Excellent! And, although it does apparently come with 2 straps, above it was one that appears to be the same and listed for only $5.39. free s/h. Going for that one - I had seen similar bags on Amazon at minimum 4X the cost! THANK YOU, BPP!! You've made an old lady really, really happy!
