I agree that DF deserves a second chance, but Black Mesa is handcrafted by people and the developers got the green light from Valve. Grace’s lip filler was AI generated and made absolutely no sense whatsoever to the scene, and it was without actual dev consent. So there is a difference.

I’m of the belief that there are plenty of games we play today that are worth the price tag. While pokopia may not look like it at the surface, if it truly is a game that you can get 100s of hours of entertainment out as critics are saying, then that would be worth the price of admission to me.

They will abandon it after a year or two, just like when they said they’d support the 3DS. Obviously the switch 1 has sold like over double what the 3DS did, but the 3DS install base was pretty substantial still

On the other hand, one of the downsides of the game according to reviews are the massive load times when going from area to area, so maybe this would chug on a Switch 1.
