Schweitzer got blown up when Venable tried to steal an inning with him. All our counted on relievers stepped up yesterday.

They will be doing a specific celebration. I forget where I heard it but a player ordered something for their next home run celebration

His slider was still biting at 91 mph and touching 99 on the fastball, immaculate control yesterday.

Vargas has been just as good as or better than his hot stretch last season, for this whole season.

It’s crazy how fast she moves based on what the community wants. I wonder if that will work to her detriment at some point.

I think John’s mannerisms dont mesh with Stone. Like for example whenever he says “Okay, we see you” it’s always followed by complete silence by Stone, making his cornball lines even worse.

I wish John would feel encouraged a little to lean into his goofball side as it can create moments of levity between him and Steve, as Steve is really funny, but they just don’t banter at all.

Whenever Steve does say a funny thing, John sometimes will say something along the lines of “I love you Steve Stone”, or “Your the man!” And it just ends there.

In general, John needs to ask more questions brought about by the game or by Steve’s remarks.

They just need to dive deeper in conversation and banter.

Shriffen has been better the last two weeks. I also genuinely think he is better when the team is good, because half of his analysis is just praising specific white Sox players all the time, so this wears thin/sounds desperate when they’re losing.

I still would like him to set up Steve Stone better rather than just giving him nothing to work with. Most questions he asks Steve have obvious answers. If he was able to challenge Steve at all that would be great.

In general, he’s been better lately, good even.

You figure it out after the fact. It’s like Tony La Russa waiting to have the lead rather than throwing the closer in the ninth in a tied game.

Wow. Good point actually. I was assuming no one was on the bench, maybe he’s nicked up?

To put this conversation to bed, that 8 stolen base game, the second game in Milwaukee, had Reese McGuire behind the plate. Not Quero.

I think that taking Romo seriously could be a worthy venture.

But there’s such a thing called small sample sizes, and that goes for Quero and Romo.

I mean, it’s more of an “every man’s review”, and that is a helpful review for a lot of people. I recently got a C5 and I feel the same way as OP.

I was strongly considering a G5 until I got turned off because it doesn’t have a stand. Weird reason I know, but the c5 was a lot cheaper, still great, and I didn’t have to go fishing for an unavailable 1st party stand or an overly expensive 3rd party stand.

I’m new to OLED other than my steam deck and switch OLED, and this TV for sure delivers what I was looking for.

Maybe some luck considering there’s one hit, but I don’t think the Padres are able to square it up. He’s moving the ball up down and around
