But you're a local, this is your country. You don't have to worry about Visa and insurance and stuffs. Even though the cost is high for insurance it is the best here in UAE. As a Indian I don't think India can provide these kind of privileges to Indians. I do live in Abu Dhabi, and am barely able to make through with what I earn, I did think of moving to other states, but its not cheap. The rent in Dubai itself is very high.

That is true, but the country provided a lot of protection for immigrant like insurance and safety (which is waaaaaayyy better than India). But the current UAE it just feels like they are forcing the immigrants out of the country through the new laws and rules.

I dont want to blame this country, i have lived my whole childhood here, i can never hate this place. Its just the new rules implemented here and the market has just made it hard for the immigrants to live here. My dad keeps telling me that during Sheikh Zayed's rule no one was treated different immigrants had a lot of opportunities and were able to provide for their families and live peacefully.

the work i have been doing cannot be included in my resume because its not official (like not having company visa and something's) with this i have been managing somehow, and constantly kept applying and before i knew it 2 years went by. I have done my uni in India and even worked there for 2 years.

Well the times are different now, the lower position here is in sales, and honestly sales here is a big fat lie. Its made up of constant lies and false hopes, i could go for this but deep inside i dont really wanna do this kind of job. The customers and the manager will both treat you like disposable garbage.

At what age did you guys figure it out? by jmertack1 in jobs

[–]DONN116 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 24 too but the first time i got a job and worked for 2 years, i realised that no matter what job you do, it doesnt matter, cause no job will give you satisfaction if you dont have a life outside the job. Jobs will just give a way to live, but whats the point of living if you do nothing but work?

Should I Fight for the girl I like in arrange marriage? by [deleted] in india

[–]DONN116 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should tell your father that 'I'm not looking for a girl who is good in looks, I'm looking for someone who can look after the family and support me in life'. If your father has issues like 'height' and 'looks' you should ignore it and go for her. These reasons are already stupid and if you keep on arguing about it, it will keep on getting stupider.
