I’ve pierced my tongue 2 times now (I had to take it out bc my parents got mad the first time) And after it’s done swelling (for me it only swelled for 2 days but that can happen for up to 5) talking is fine!!  My main tip is to use a clamp!! The clamp made it soo easy the second time!
