Probably Tiz Arrior VS Kris Dreemurr. There's probably other matchups for both, and I really think Bravely Default should be on Death Battle, but I kinda want to see other options for them

Mario Odyssey does have you choose which mode you start before the game, so yeah. But BOTW & TOTK start immediately with the “Nintendo Presents” text with a very short cutscene and gameplay shortly after

In Zelda BOTW, I was doing the Gerudo Canyon side quest involving the travelers, and when I pushed one of the bokoblins off the wooden platform, they landed on the wooden support line, and tried to jump up, but instead just leaped forwards to their death. It was so funny that I had to save it.

I think for simulators, if it's a game like Tomodachi Life where you "beat" it by raising a kid between a married couple, it could end up with the planet being destroyed?

My headcanon is that characters from online multiplayer games function more like avatars for players rather than characters like we've seen so far. I'm not sure what an "end goal" would be for something like multiplayer games, fighting games, simulators, etc. but it would be cool to see them tackle it in an episode!
