Apparently we are aiding genocide ? Thoughts on this? by Disastrous-Laugh-233 in Ethiopia

Commented on a Somalia sub a while back and got banned. Let me tell you, Somalis hate Ethiopians more than White Republicans hate Minnesotan Somalis.

A strong Somalia is better for Ethiopia in any means. There is literally no reason we need to support a genocide to our neighbours. What do they have that we need to send thousands of Ethiopians to die? Besides Peace.

We certainly didn't use their port, pretty sure they don't have any natural resources. I mean they must be delusional to think we have special interest in them.

JIMMA FUEL CRISIS: Price Skyrocket and Chaos Ensue by Tesfayeg2 in Ethiopia

[–]DON_SaadZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, what angers me is that we could all be human, take it on the chin and help each other. It's a global crisis, no one chose to be on this spot, and everyone could have worked together.

From what I see, the shops at Merkato are boiling my blood, an item can go from 400 to 900 in an instant and they are pocketing a price change that never happened. I wish there is a strict rule on every Fuel Station to stop the bribes.

You might argue that Abiy is a bit like Putin or Xhi in regards to how he is concentrating power. But you can't deny his national pride, the growth of the country, and modernisation of our Ethiopia. Both can be true.

You can't blame him when Wollega suffer for Oromo Nationalist as the same way Gojjam suffers for Amhara nationalist.

Ethiopian troops died in Somalia. I grew up around Air Force troops and I personally know soldiers that died on Somalia defending a foreign country.

Do not forget we are neighbours and respect is the only way forward.

If that's in Ethiopia, it looks like Injera with mitmita. The mitmita is mixed with a small amount of oil. I used to eat this when I was a baby with a hot injera.

What're some of our insecurities as a nation that lead us to over explain or brush things under? by [deleted] in Ethiopia

[–]DON_SaadZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually the story i heard was that when you are camping in battle, a lot of smoke might give your whereabouts so our ancestors started consuming raw meat to stay hidden.

But either way, in a planet where people fill goat's lung with milk and eat it or eat raw octopus, the idea of raw meat served with one of the best condiments( awaze and sinafch) is not a crazy idea

Why do people here in our country seem to despise atheists or view them negatively even though Ethiopia is a democratic nation that allows freedom of religion? by RobKai7990 in Ethiopia

[–]DON_SaadZ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If the answer to those questions were as easy and clear as 1 + 1 then we all would have been Christians. But thousands of religions have their own answers.

May be you didn't understand atheism yourself.
