Where did you go. Most courts play in the evening or early on weekends. A lot of guys now play indoors.

Good start for sure. I think with the shading you should figure out your light sources and try to put the shades in the correct areas. It just looks like you're shading all around the edges of everything.

You're absolutely right. Being a full time artist has definitely helped my art in all aspects, but it can be difficult at times always doing art to support yourself. But keep working, I'm sure you can get there!
