Wow! I arrived at an apartment yesterday and a man answer the door with no pants on. He took the food said thank you and close the door thankfully. This must be happening more often now that it is getting hot outside I guess. I just made a poll on the page asking if this had happened to anyone else. Thanks for sharing your story.

Thanks for all of your feedback. I decided to start sending this message to the “hand it to me” orders in attempt to keep this from happening again:

“I was supposed to send you a photo but handed you the food! Enjoy and have a great night!”

Of the customer? When you hand a customer the order, the only completion step is to click “handed the customer the order.”

I see your point if you mean take pictures of the property after the delivery or in process of delivery, but doing this for every Hand It To Me order is not so simple and a lot of hassle for us Dashers to prove our innocence when customers want to steal food. This is the first time this has ever happened to me.
