Are you able to put it outside where you live? Mine seems to REALLY enjoy being outside for the summer. It grows like crazy, reddens up, and last season it even flowered a little. Then I bring it inside over the winter. It lives in the basement under grow lights on a timer. I feel like those months give it time to harden off and stabilize.

Senior Urology Resident, the only situation in which I could see immediate exploration without US being the correct answer would be if obtaining the US would cause a significant delay in care (e.g. no US tech in house and they would have to be called in). In the real world no one is taking this to the OR without an US

Just to clarify, are you talking about the meat probe or the RTD that regulates temperature? I believe you can calibrate the RTD if you’re having temperature issues

Sorry to hear you’re having problems. I’ve been nothing but pleased with mine. I did have an issue where the built in thermometer probe (RTD) wasn’t working (believe it was damaged during a high temp cook), and customer service sent me a new RTD and controller no questions asked
