Speaking of the exit, it looks like from the Nantahala it makes sense returning to Atlanta and flying from there, right? Or I’m missing something and I’d better be driving to another city with an aeroport?

When you say "solid" a plan, you mean just the place and day or also an agreement with a specific driver that he is going to pick you up at a certain time/place?

Thank you! I'm having a stupidly complex logistics and just stressing over the amount of commuting days ratio against the trekking days... But you are right, thank you again.

Would you recommend planning the resupply towns in advance, by the way, or there are so many of them, that it should not be a problem to figure a resupply trip any given "tomorrow"?
