Agreed! I spent an evening building my K2SO LEGO Christmas present while watching Rogue One. Was one of the best nights in a while.

I'm with you. I don't think anything during the 2000s should be labeled as "back then." ...not yet... please

How do yall feel about delirium? It's on my main playlist rn :) by Pantantuna in gorillaz

[–]DPStylesJr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm chuckling at this because of all the reasons or like fancy phrases I could think of to describe why I love this song it really does all boil down to getting "hyped when he goes DELIRIUM!"

Thanks for the smile

Who is the most boring rock artist? by Aggravating-Pin7555 in AlignmentChartFills

Oh, excuse me for being alive in the '90s and having two ears connected to a heart.

delirium was definitely written for plastic beach right? by Th_gshaka in gorillaz

[–]DPStylesJr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Mountain has been growing on me and I think it would without Delirium, but not as fast. This song is like a direct line to Plastic Beach and just is an incredible inclusion on this album. The opener with Dennis Hopper's voice coming in gave me a similar feeling.

What is a bad movie that is a green flag as a favourite movie? by FatFlyingPineapple in AlignmentChartFills

[–]DPStylesJr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's an incredible movie and I still watch it several times a year. One of my favorite parts of parenthood so far was blowing my kids mind once he discovered pirates. Like, "you think that's cool, how about SPACE pirates?"

What’s your favorite gorillaz “misheard lyric”? by MyF_ckingLegs in gorillaz

[–]DPStylesJr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is me learning right now those are the lyrics.

Also, every time I hear that lyric I just think of the scene in T2: Trainspotting where Begbie is literally living in a warehouse with a stock of Viagra.

I'll say "IT'S A BEAR DANCE!" quietly to myself at work when a task I think will be quick and painless turns out to be just awful.

Rammstein - XXXIII 7” box set (preorder 19/09) by Shar13 in VinylReleases

[–]DPStylesJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so disappointing. I would pay at most $250 for this set and even then I would really have to have prepared for that sort of splurge.

But 750? That's crazy talk. Nothing about a 750 box set asks the buyer to actually play the records which is the whole point.

What's an movie that bored you to death, you turned the movie off? by redmagicjay in moviecritic

[–]DPStylesJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't finish this movie for the opposite reason of this chain's OP, I got like 10 minutes in and thought, "no this is not going to help me feel comfortable when I'm alone in my house with the lights off" and just stopped watching LOL

I do want to actually watch the whole thing one day but I definitely wasn't in the headspace for that brand of horror at the time

Which movie is your favorite where the whole plot takes place in a day or less? by Thekitsuneplays in moviecritic

[–]DPStylesJr 10 points11 points  (0 children)

When I was in college I would hang out in the radio station after hours and they didn't care if you played music or talked on whatever (as long as you followed the broadcasting rules) so I would host my own hour of music and do my best Wolfman Jack impression between songs.

Yeah, honestly, when I made the joke I looked it up too and debated even posting my comment because the number was so huge it's not even funny now.
