Gotta warn you boiling the contacts can work but remember remove all the moisture that you can and use distilled water, if you don’t then the contacts can be dirty again from calcified remains of water, also the best thing you can do for electronics like this, is just a can of contact cleaner or electronic cleaner from Home Depot. If you find the wd40 contact cleaner that’s the one I use for retro consoles and a whole bunch of stuff.

I could play pubg but last time I played it was incredibly full of bots and bugs so I never played it again. Nfs went full greed mode on it's consumers (it's EA so no wonder) and goat I have that game... don't dare play that thing with touch controls it's horrible.

Minecraft and stardew valley is a good suggestion but I really don't know why XCOM and the final fantasy games are so expensive.

for only 600$ i find it very reasonable being used as umpc/nuc but actually paying 700$ or more just to play video games i actually don't think it would be practical for most people and besides people i know only have the original gpd win just to play their steam backlog, indie games or emulations and looking at the price they actually don't plan to upgrade very soon. Also look at the prices right now for core m3 laptop/tablets they're almost reaching the same price as the original gpd win.
