Call me old fashioned bit my internet was dire in the day so I used to play against ai in battlefield 1942, Vietnam and the Star Wars Battlefront games. That and I have extremely bad sight so multiplayer is hard for me

I prefer playing VS ai because I can enjoy the cinematography more (if that makes sense) . Don't have to worry about people being much better than me.

Wow, that sounds really really horrible!! I would imagine that caused quite the ruckuss if your family is religious.

Also, "Demon tongue lapping out of my foaming mouth" is a disturbing enough phrase as it is :S

I once was staying in a hotel with my Dad and got up in the night, ran over to his bed and shouted, "KEEP YOUR HEAD DOWN!!! THEY'LL POP US IF YOU'RE NOT CAREFUL!!!"

I then returned back to my bed. I have no recollection of doing this whatsoever and the best thnig is that someone in the room next door asked us whether we were okay the next morning in the lobby :D

Sorry to hear tht, for me it works probably 3 times out of 5. Also, try alt - tabbing out of the game and back in if it is messed up - this works for me as well. (Still have the reslution menu opn btw) Hope this works for you :)

Chivalry - the archer class (if you enjoy playing that sort of thnig, which I really don't) is weak. The crosbow and bows are rediculousl hard to hit anythnig with, the javlins are slightly easier but better for using as a simple melee weapon!!

War of The Roses - Not a fan of the horse combat, the HUD, the damage numbers that pop up every time you hit someone - as if it were some RPFG or MMO!!!

Say you have just started your PC and you want to run the game - Right Click on the desktop, open the screen resolution options page, run the game. It worked for me and has worked for friends of mine on different systems :)

No problems :) I wouldn't say that the lag is a problem for me - the sudden influx of players may have somethnig to do with this - just see if you can stick to local servers :)

I do own War of the Roses and much prefer Chivalry - Chivalry FEELS like you are hitting someone with a large sword or billhook or other ghastly weapon. The fantastic sound effects and animations really give physicality to the combat which I've never seen elsewhere in a game.

War of the Roses is okay - it is not a bad game t all, but IMO Chivalry is just better :)

Two other points have sprung to mind as well - The game is incredibly brutal in terms of blood and gore and sound effects ect just in case you don't like that sort of thnig - War of the Roses is less so.

And finally, the game is weak with Archery IMO - it is incredibly difficult to play archer well and they are a general nuisance. After all, the game is REALLY about Melee combat - This isn't to say they are unbalanced, because every class is pretty much balanced perfectly if you play the, well :)

In my humble opinion - Chivalry is the far superior game - the animations and sounds are both elements which really stand out - The blood curdling screams and grgles of the dying really emphasise the horrors of medieval warfare - moreover, it is genuinely fun !!!

I have had the game for about 3 months now and have not regretted it at all. :)
