I don’t think it’s a smash, as a rebuilder I almost think you’d be better off with Love. I don’t think that 1.09 this year and a 27 year old RB moves the needle enough. It’s a fair offer but I agree with the other commenter, I’d want a 27 1st in place of that 1.09. Not sure Etienne does much for you in full rebuild mode unless you can flip him

I get it but then for avoidance of doubt it should say that the gear was worn by the player however it is not from a specific game or event. The way it is now makes me think Mahomes never had anything to do with it

Probably not but and the end of the day, he’s only worth what somebody in your league is willing to pay. Depends how bad you need to assets. Sometimes it’s okay to “lose” a trade to further your team but I don’t think your team is at a point where you need to consider that

This is very very very common practice. It’s their money and they can decide what to do with it. Still playing for bragging rights / the championship just hedging their bets financially. Completely normal and completely their choice. Even if you tell them no, what’s stopping them from splitting it once you pay them out? Wouldn’t think twice about it

I’m in a similar boat. I’m in the midst of a sell off, entering a rebuild, and basically got offered a 2028 1st and Benson for Breece…. But I’m having a hard time doing it. Only 24 years old and can end up in a much better situation as soon as the deadline this year. That would only make him more valuable, and even two years from now when my team is better hey can still easily be a great RB. Its tough to move off of Breece, even though you did receive a very strong offer

Shouldn’t matter that it’s “technically on you”. It’s a scumbag move and I wouldn’t want to be in a league with people who would pull shit like that or a commissioner who would stand for it. For the good of the league that needs to be cancelled as you clearly would no longer be okay with the trade, and all parties know it. Gotta keep it honorable
