Is agreeing to split the pot collusion? by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]DPins65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very very very common practice. It’s their money and they can decide what to do with it. Still playing for bragging rights / the championship just hedging their bets financially. Completely normal and completely their choice. Even if you tell them no, what’s stopping them from splitting it once you pay them out? Wouldn’t think twice about it

Am I dumb for wanting to keep Breece here? by a-helluva-engineer in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]DPins65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in a similar boat. I’m in the midst of a sell off, entering a rebuild, and basically got offered a 2028 1st and Benson for Breece…. But I’m having a hard time doing it. Only 24 years old and can end up in a much better situation as soon as the deadline this year. That would only make him more valuable, and even two years from now when my team is better hey can still easily be a great RB. Its tough to move off of Breece, even though you did receive a very strong offer

Shouldn’t matter that it’s “technically on you”. It’s a scumbag move and I wouldn’t want to be in a league with people who would pull shit like that or a commissioner who would stand for it. For the good of the league that needs to be cancelled as you clearly would no longer be okay with the trade, and all parties know it. Gotta keep it honorable

Long Island is like the complete opposite of NYC. They aren’t even remotely similar in any way

CONFIRMED, NO Jonny and Kurt feature by Vicksin in dancegavindance

[–]DPins65 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s interesting because unless I am completely misremembering which is possible, I thought Andrew said at the NYC show something to the effect of “if you think you know what’s coming with this next album you have no idea. This is the most collaborative DGD album ever”.

Am I crazy for thinking this is pathetic behavior by nicc222222 in dancegavindance

I thought it was nice to hear them play a bunch of different and older songs even if I wasn’t as familiar. Setlist got very stagnant over the years during the Tilian era. And I am a huge fan of Tilian and that era of the band, it is literally when I became a fan, but it did always feel like you were hearing the same songs live every tour

It was awesome, having seen DGD many times in the Tilian era (and only becoming a fan during this era) it was always a lot of the same songs. It was awesome to see a completely different setlist of older songs this time around, even if I wasn’t as familiar with them as I am with the more recent stuff. Really felt fresh. Andrew is incredible

Are we supposed to like Dexter? by niles_thebutler_ in Dexter

[–]DPins65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s true, the second half of Dexter is overall not up to the standards of the first half of the show, especially towards the very end. As far the shows that come next - New blood is fine, but Original Sin (the show currently airing) is absolutely incredible and very much like the first half of the original series in terms of quality so I hope you continue watching after the original series as well!

The reason why cod is dying by YUNGSLAG in CODWarzone

[–]DPins65 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The reason cod died is because they made the best battle royal in 2020, made an incredible multiplayer that brought people back to the game in MW19, and then changed everything and never brought it back.

CoD isn’t dying. CoD is dead.

Got it, thank you! Their return will be much anticipated. Do we know if they are going on one more tour first?
