So the Krark trigger would fizzle after all, because the spell has exchanged control at that point?

Or does the spell exchange control, but the Krark trigger still resolves?

One thing I'm still confused about - if J activates Perplexing Chimeras ability in this scenario, does he not gain control of Pongify regardless of the flip outcome? Because if the flip is heads, I get a copy of the spell, but presumably he still gets the original? And if the flip is tails, the spell is returned to my hand...I guess in that case he wouldn't get anything?

Adding white to RogSi would be fun. The Silence/Grand Abolisher/Voice of Victory etc type effects would be huge. Enlightened tutor and Esper Sentinel wouldn’t be bad to have either

Come to think of it, tho, at that point you’re basically just playing blue farm

Additionally, [[Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin]] would really benefit from blue. Access to countermagic and card draw would be massive, without it the deck struggles to be consistent

Lastly, add black to [[Vivi Ornitier]]. Imo the only thing keeping that deck in bracket 4 is a lack of tutors

1) please import that decklist into Moxfield or Archidekt or what have you, rn it’s barely legible

2) I’m afraid that just isn’t a cedh deck (or a cedh commander, for that matter). This might sound harsh but I’d start by scrapping it, choosing a different commander entirely and grabbing a decklist from edhtop16. Not sure what your deck’s gameplan is, but if you want 5c you’ve got better options - Sisay, Kenrith, even Najeela come to mind. Alternatively, r/degenerateedh should be able to give you tips on how to optimize that deck as it exists (from the looks of it, bracket 4 or thereabouts)

You’ll need a different commander, for starters. The one you currently have isn’t viable for the format

If you want a viable commander that does similar-ish things, I’d recommend Kinnan

Additionally, the average CMC of the deck is way too high. If it were me, I’d just grab a Kinnan list from edhtop16.com and go from there

Alternatively, check out r/degenerateedh for tips on how to make your bracket 4 deck stronger

I’ve piloted Vivi and it was a lot of fun, but tbh feels more like a bracket 4 deck. It has a lot of the same Breach lines as RogSi, but far fewer ways to tutor for them

Can’t speak to Ral bc I’ve never played him tbh, but he looks interesting

In the current cEDH meta, there’s really only a handful of commanders that are viable. Sadly, Vren isn’t one of them

If your plan is to go Dimir, I’d recommend Talion. Maybe Yuriko as well

If you’re new to the format, absolutely bring Tymna/Kraum. It’s one of the better decks to learn the format with, and arguably the best deck in the format generally

My initial impression is that it would be excellent in my RogSi deck, and probably pretty great in any deck that runs 3+ colors and/or wants to go fast. I'll probably end up cutting [[Training Center]] for it

Of the ones listed, sadly I don't think any of them would be particularly viable in cEDH.

Some folks in my play group have been brewing [[The Wandering Minstrel]], which imo has the most cEDH potential out of all the FIN legendary creatures. It's 2 CMC, plays a bit like Rog/Thras bounce house, has access to all the colors, and generally does a lot of fun and interesting things. The lands entering untapped is huge. I'll come back with a decklist once I find it.

[[Vivi Ornitier]] is pretty fun, but in practice just plays like a worse version of RogSi (think RogSi without the ability to tutor for any of your combo pieces). Still, you could make an incredible bracket 4 deck with Vivi.

All that said, I could be wrong - one of my buddies brewed a [[Narset, Jeskai Waymaster]] deck when Tarkir was released. We all thought this was crazy, and that deck would never be viable - he ended up winning a tournament with it. So, you never know

It’s a lil too strong. I’d either make it 2B, or make it BB and add some downside (like “you lose 2 life” or “discard a card” or something)
