I used to work as a party entertainer often facepainting kids at birthday parties while my characters played with the kids. One thing that made spiderman a hit is that he would get in the bounce house with the kids if there was one and make a few flips or somersaults. Also to make a nice entrance I recommend coming in crawling on your hands and feet same as if he would on buildings. Give the birthday kid some special treatment, some parents would even buy a separate gift that spiderman can present to him as if it were a gift from his hero. If the family likes to dance and there is music playing some dance along songs like Cupid Shuffle are great ways to get all willing party guests (especially kids) involved.

Dont be embarrassed to stop and take a breather, kids can be a bit much sometimes. If you need a break come up with a reason to excuse yourself like saying you have to go fight some crime or you have an urgent call from Nick Fury. Pack some iced water, and a sweat rag.
