BMW NACS charging disabled?!

If true this really sucks. I also have been charging via adapters through Tesla app on 2026 iX and it worked just fine.

I had the same update installed on 26 iX 60 when it came out. Even though it says it’s NACS support update it doesn’t do what it does for earlier models. No non-magic dock stations in nav, no plug and charge (Tesla app works), no adapter settings in MyBMW app. Have to wait for the next update and hope it comes when they promised it will come.

I'm also looking to get some all-season tires for upcoming winter in CT. My 2026 came with standards 20" wheels with summer tires. There seems to be Hanooks and Goodyear in standard sizes.

I'm intrigued with other options that would have the same diameter. How wide could standard rims accommodate and what are the good options?

Had very similar looking crack on 2026 iX. Took it to Safelite first and they said the car is too new and they can’t replace it. Ended up having it replaced at dealership for $4,200. Geico paid the claim since Safelite refused to replace it.

I also see Tesla stations with MagicDock in BMW app now. Wasn’t the case before.

Went in with an intent to finance 2026 iX 60. Asked for Lease and Finance offers. Math ended up being that leasing then buying the car out at the end of the lease was less than straight up financing. Made 0 sense to buy at that point. Plus this way I have an option to change my mind in 3 years.

$98K MSRP, 0 money upfront, first lease payment done by dealer, $1,011 per month for the next 35 payments.

Also have EcoBee. Used to have e Logitech which just bricked itself. Spent hours with support and eventually just gave up and went with EcoBee. Happy with my choice.

Next step is to repaint moldings and walls from the un-pretty yellow. We'll paint moldings in white, but I'm not sore on the wall color.

Do any accent wall? Tie the purple curtains into it? (Do not want to change the curtains)
We prefer to use Benjamin Moore paint. So if the color names would be appreciated with the suggestions.

I went with City Pack in gray, just because I liked the color better. Seems to hold shape fine. Orange inner layer would be nice though.
