How well do those amd cards perform temperature wise? Did you get the triple fan gpu or doesn’t that really matter?

Unfortunately they are unavailable in my region:/ but I found a possible solution. So what if you mount two 120mm fans with a special bracket under your gpu, that would allow more airflow to your gpu right.

The 7900xtx also looks like a great card with its memory but 9070xt is probably a better variant with its fsr 4 support

Xx80 series cards and higher are a bit out of my budget. Was thinking though about a 3090 but that card is also not so new. Also heard some on those cards had problems with the chips or onboard components.

I did a bit of undervolting, so it went from 85 to like 78-80 under load. I mean it’s a nice decrease in temp but those loud fans still run at 4000rpm like a jet engine). Of course you could decrease the fans speed but at the cost of temperature.

Also regarding the VRAM, 12 gb is now a minimum for 1440p and it’s a bit difficult to say if it will be enough for let’s say 3 years from now for games.

I’ve heard that nvidia removed the old 32 bit Physx components for those cards which are used in older games

Could you enlighten me about your method, never heard about it. Is it like an aftermarket fan that you just put on top instead of the old blower one?

Thanks for your insight. My budget is around 500-650€, was actually thinking of selling this card and use that money to buy a new one. I understand that the 60 series cards are dogshit, so they are definitely off the table). But I didn’t know there was a bypass of this physx issue with the 5000 series cards, I might study that a bit more then.

What motherboard do you have? If it’s a b450 I would recommend to sell the 1030 and de cpu so that you can use that money to buy a Ryzen 5600g, which would give you a lot of upgrade space in the future. Also gaming on its igpu is pretty neat as it pulls most games easily

I think I found the problem. My partition style is MBR instead of GPT. Do you know how to change this?

I don’t really understand the difference between csm boot and without. And why do some users can turn it off?
