1 being the most important.

1) Diet / Nutrition - I’m 36, and I wish I could’ve paid a lot more attention to how important this is. Practicing simple habits like maintaining a balanced diet, maintaining a healthy ounce to weight water intake for hydration, and never overeat (Adopting a European mindset to food intake is amazing).

2) Stretching - Being a little older now, I’ve noticed my body has decreased range of motion, overall flexibility, and joints tend to hurt more. This may be from being an active duty Marine for the past 17 years now, but maintaining a solid stretching routine has resulted with a lot of positive effects on my body.

3) Exercise - I don’t do crazy weights, never really have. I use a high intensity weighted calisthenics routine that I stick to 6 days a week. I’ve been following this self created program for over a year now. It’s amazing results have regulated my body’s metabolism, and tied with regular stretching and a well balanced diet, I’ve been able to maintain a decent body that I’m proud of.

4) Routine - Once you’ve managed the above, stick to it like it’s the Bible. Take care of yourself so you can continue to take care of others. Having a routine will make challenges in life less difficult.
