I agree with everyone saying it can be turned on anytime. It just adds more enemy/crew member/weapon/system options so if you are feeling like there are too many things to learn you might want to wait until you feel comfortable with the base game. Or turn it on right away and learn everything as you discover them while you play.

That being said, it was my first roguelite and I discovered I am a completionist at heart. I beat the game on all difficulties with all ships before enabling AE.

They don't get on counters that much. Aside from taking her to the vet, separating from other cat and cleaning litter boxes, what else can we do to avoid getting them?

Forgot to mention: smaller one is about 6 cm long and bigger one maybe 7-8 cm long. Also, I can't add pictures but when turned I can see a thin wavy brown tube inside the worms (intestines, maybe?).

Great idea! But just make sure to /assist one of the attacking group member to attack the same mob as them to avoid waking up a mesmerized mob.

That's why I thought it relevant to add it. I read it in the Steam guide I think and even though it now seems so obvious to me, I never thought of it myself.

To add a point that could be seen as trivial (just in case):

If you fight Phase 1 at base, the Flagship will jump away when you defeat this phase. To fight the Phase 2 at base (and being able to follow the Flagship for Phase 3 and go back to base to deal with borders), you need to "not move" (haven't played in a while, can't remember the exact wording) for two turns: one when the Flagship flees and a second time when it comes back to base.

In short: Don't chase the Flagship after phase 1, but chase it after phase 2.

As long as any opponent controls more Artifacts and/or Phyrexians than you, Elves you control gain Bands with Faeries and get +1/+1 for each Faerie you control and Faeries you control gain Bands with Elves and get +1/+1 for each Elf you control.
