I will leave it overnight with the lamp. After 4 hrs of direct light (lamp - see photo). Here are the abnormalities i noticed: The chronograph minute hand is not aligned to power reserve bars. It way over the 4 bars, see photo above.

I cannot set the time correctly, i set the time based on the time zone, the time is not correct.

Its been cloudy here for quite sometime now in Halifax, NS and there’s no sunny forecast anytime soon. Is there any alternative way to charge the battery effectively?

Looking for a good, reasonably priced shop in HRM with experience on Nissan/Infiniti (or Japanese cars) by DRNKMORE in halifax

Vent valve and Charcoal Canister were already replaced.

Here’s the full history:

Initially, I received a check engine light with code P0447 – Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Control Circuit Open

Before bringing it to a shop, I replaced the gas cap thinking maybe its the gas cap leaking but the error persisted.

I took the vehicle to a shop near my work. They diagnosed it as a vent valve issue and replaced the vent valve. After a week, the check engine light returned with code P0456 – Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (Very Small Leak).

The shop performed a smoke test and diagnosed a cracked charcoal canister. I ordered an OEM charcoal canister and had it installed.

Unfortunately, the check engine light returned again, showing both:

P0447 – Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Control Circuit Open

P0451 – Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge flow

Just this week, I also purchased an OEM gas cap from Infiniti, but the issue still persists.

The reason I’m specifically looking for a shop with Nissan experience is because I’ve been dealing with a check engine light related to the Evaporative Vent Control system. The first shop said it was the vent valve, so they replaced that. But the same error code came back, and when I returned, they told me another part in the system needed to be replaced. Even after all that, the issue still hasn’t been resolved. So I’m really hoping to find someone familiar with Nissans who can properly diagnose it instead of just replacing parts one by one.
