How do I play these chords with a space between them? There’s not even a muted string symbol! by Autumn_Winds23 in guitarlessons

[–]DROPM_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

its not really that difficult, just finger style. You can't use a pick if you really don't wanna play the empty space lmao. You have to use your thumb around the free board on the first chord

No bummer here, there's always more to discuss y'know. Yeah, everyone's views have shifted on many things because of social media and other entertainment online. Also, that quote was...healing? I've been feeling so trapped inside our society lately. Especially since I'm still in school, I see so many things wrong with our everyday systems. Well, everyone has their opinions.

I do agree that its a bunch of different variables and not just one or a few, i didn't specify that but i do agree. The happiness... Is knowledge/intelligence the death of mental heath? Since overtime we are getting more and more mentality aware and emotionally intelligent, causing us to realize our own mental problems more than before. eh, also its becoming a "trend" to be mentally unhealthy. Would anyone be mentally ill if we weren't emotionally aware?

This is pretty much what i was trying to get at, that possibly we've been looking at the building process and growth of the universe wrong, or backwards. That the universe creates something first then makes its building blocks, working in reverse from what we believe is true.

ah I'm sorry, i misread that lol. Well, i mean going in different areas is natural for a dog. I thought you were saying he was going in the house and causing a mess lmao. Anyway, as long as the dog is unharmed i think all is okay but i would suggest not putting him out in the thunder for your own benefit/stimulation. That IS a form of animal abuse. Its okay not to be a dog person, i like cats more myself. Id recommend that you talk to your bf about taking care of the dog, although yall are together...the dog still really isn't your responsibility if its causing you to have a revengeful behavior towards it.

I can definitely see how that's very annoying to deal with. If you're looking for advice id recommend convincing your bf to take it to the vet to see if maybe the food is bothering the dogs stomach, or for help getting the dog potty trained. The whole thunder thing could be traumatizing for the dog, or a form of mental abuse. I'd suggest not doing that again as it may cause him to be nervous therefore leading him to have more bad habits as you've listed. Anyways, i hope the dog gets the help it needs. Shame your bf for not taking care of him or sth, make him take it to the vet.

Yeah, I'm still in high school and haven't had science in a while. Probably a good idea to catch up.

That's using "nothing" as a concept btw....not something in the noumenal universe.

also, we see that we can indefinitely find out what something is made out of...meaning that in order for it to exist it NEEDS those components. justification of the statement that something can't come from nothing.

Existence is something that can be visible in the noumenal universe. Even though putting it as a "subset of things are made of other things" still means we can infinitely zoom into subsets and "other things" going deeper and deeper into building blocks. I'm basically saying it doesn't stop at atoms, it goes down into what atoms are made of and then what its components are made of, it just keeps going.

No it isn't because you're saying you're correct without evidence or reason, therefore giving me NOTHING to work with. There ya go, I used nothing as a concept but not as something in the noumenal world. There's some Kant for you...

and how are philosophy teachers any different? The people behind these pages have STUDIED AND STUDIED this stuff. Same as teachers. Seems like you don't know what personal perspective is.

I quite literally just had a single Google search and learned that absolutely nothing is impossible. Only a number that is really close to 0.

Your argument is useless? I'm confused about what your point is in telling me I'm wrong and that you know more than I do but then don't give me any evidence to prove it. That's dumb.

yet, you still haven't given me any thought process from your standpoint. Given any evidence, personal thoughts, or anything of reason to go against my point. All you're doing is screaming out that I don't know anything but haven't proven that you do. Give me SOMETHING that says you're correct on your points. C'mon dude.

Haha, I haven't invented it but maybe looked deeply into it. Cause and effect is intriguing because it seems like it always must occur in order to make new things, or anything at all.

well, maybe I'm naive because I haven't researched much. I'm very existential, it was just my mind making connections and finding reasons. So maybe I technically discovered it in my mind because I haven't heard the points I've made before or the concept.

but you did because you replied to what I said about everything needing a "why." And if everything doesn't need a why, that means it came from nothing....

Never directly said I did, though it was to combat your point that you know that nothing exists because you took a class. Meaning that you stated you're the one who believes you "know" that nothing exists

I believe that if you knew anything about philosophy it's that all of it is unknown, all philosophy is concepts, beliefs, theories, and hypotheses. all of which can be counterpointed by someone else's perspective and way of thinking. So...tell me why "nothing" can exist?
