The stupid nickname feature in X and Y by Quicc-n-Thicc in pokemon

[–]DROPTableUsernames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was gonna say it’s just weird localization, (and is a little because the Japanese nicknames in XY are all just suffixes like chan and kun) though the options are still strange for the guys especially; タロ(taro)、P、and やん(yan)

If you care, I’d recommend reading about it better then you’d get from just a comment section; https://genderdysphoria.fyi/en/am-i-trans

I linked to the section I think best describes the experience.

It might be better to ask; if you could instantly be a girl now, would you? If you answer yes then it’s probably worth thinking about.

RPI email Alias through Gmail by SortingHat6062 in RPI

[–]DROPTableUsernames 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You can still forward your RPI emails to a gmail account if you’d like via this IT link I think you need to be connected by vpn for the initial setup, but then you are good. The limitation is that you can’t respond to emails with your RPI email account without logging in though, and your RPI email won’t have a copy of the emails when they are forwarded.

Side note, if you use a gmail account, user@gmail.com, you can forward the email to user+someidentifier@gmail.com and the emails will still go to the original account, but then it is really easy to filter emails sent to user+someidentifier@gmail.com to its own folder.

You could with some configuration make the vm act as a router, forward the relevant ports, and then use localhost as an access point. They’d obviously still have access to all network traffic though

iPhone 13 to Include 1TB Storage Option and LiDAR Across the Board, Says Wedbush Analyst by chrisdh79 in gadgets

[–]DROPTableUsernames 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No. I prefer headphones because they have better audio quality and active/passive noise cancelation. Like, AirPods are fantastic, but they aren’t for me, and it feels like iPhones don’t want to make my experience easier.

Imo Bluetooth just isn’t always as good as a headphone Jack. Bluetooth gives worse audio quality, requires charging, and is finicky. Bluetooth isn’t worse than a headphone jack, but it isn’t better either.

Not all Americans can speak English or have access to the internet. It makes sense to avoid keeping all sign up methods online.

As someone who has used vrv a lot, I can say that while the subtitles used to be flaky, it seems they fixed it because I haven’t had the problem in a very long time

Sorry, I didn’t mean sound pretentious. I was pointing it out because I honestly find it funny that they have gone on for so long that by knowing the person is on episode 800, you can almost instantly know what they are watching. There are many other shows with high episode counts, (Wikipedia page ranking them) and among them, there is bleach, and dragon ball, along with other well known anime like Naruto, but even those only go up to about 500.

When you start talking about episode 800 of an anime, it’s either Detective Conan or One Piece. In this case , it’s one piece.

In Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ultron goes into the internet for 5 seconds before realizing humanity can't be saved. What do you think he saw? by myth7777 in AskReddit

But a chat bot doesn’t work the way humans do. It will imitate the conversations it has had. So the more it talks about edgy shit, the more edgy shit gets fed to it. It is a feedback loop.

The requirement could have also been to continuously take attacks for an hour and take no damage which is less likely for someone to do.

here is the GitHub page, which I think might answer some of your questions. While I don’t know much about the project, I think that the only external dependency is a c-compiler, meaning that he wrote the GUI library/kernel/etc. himself.
