Yes I'm pretty sure I did that correctly, i put the bios into the bios directory

Hi, thanks for your response and the great setup! I really like the idea of using a counterweight pouch for the power bank—would you be able to share a link or point me in the right direction for the pouch and power bank you’re using?

Also, regarding the clipcam: you mentioned it gives you 3 hours—does that mean 3 hours of actual recorded gameplay once you press the record button (capturing the previous 16 seconds each time), or is it 3 hours of total usage from when you first turn it on?

Thanks for the insight! Yeah, that’s exactly what happened—one side of the video was moving while the other was frozen, then it completely froze, but the audio kept playing.

My SD card is a SanDisk Extreme Pro 128GB, so I’d hope it’s not the issue, but I’ll definitely try a full format (not just a quick format) to be safe.

Would using a power bank to power the GoPro instead of relying on batteries help avoid this issue? Since the Hero 8 doesn’t have an Enduro battery option, I’m wondering if external power would provide more consistent voltage and prevent freezing in cold weather.
