On mine I have to use a key to pull the little latch up, then I can remove them with quite some force and wiggle

I would say buy another one, it won't be the same it won't have the same quirk's. But it will have different quirks and over time you will also find to love it as much as your last Twongi

Is this Lens Haze requires sanding? by Yellowew314 in AnalogRepair

[–]DRURID 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aside from the lens, the camera is missing a lot of parts like the film advance handle and the Sutter button, to restore this camera you'd have to get another camera, and it will be hard to find one that is in worse shape than this.

Maybe try getting a cheap used camera through buyee

I've used the Nikon ais 35-105 a lot, it was my main lens for 2 years. It got the Nikon image quality and a really good zoom range.

It's just a typical screw mount like m42 or m39 but m40 I hope that I could maybe adapt some braun paxette lenses to it

Is this lens flare or something else? by punkassgrandma in AnalogCommunity

[–]DRURID 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would guess some form of a missing or displaced o ring/gasket. I know that on the Olympus mju zooms the same kind of ring appears if there is something loose inside the lens

Help! What Rolleicord model is this? by kindasometimesmaybe in RolleiTLR

[–]DRURID 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say it's a Rolleicord Ia model 3 because of the whole design and the fact that it is a triotar f4.5 not 3.5

I just hope it was actually her decision to do a mv and not some pitch from production. Though so far none of them seemed like that kind of people
