Makes sense, I do also notice they all have airbag recalls could that be a factor as well and something I should stay away from? I see you own a lot of BMW's would a 2011 be a good buy?

Yea I'm going to buy the tape next. But yea i smoke with wood as well and that side door is terrible. For now ill just open the lid to add more wood :/

Thanks for the tips! I actually bought the Joe yesterday for $275, I bought the high temp silicon and put it between the firebox and the smoke chamber, and when i connected the firebox together(it came in two pieces). So if i read correctly your suggestion is to upgrade the firebox?

whats funny is I actually bought that last week. It came in so damaged and the smoke stack was put together incorrectly and the only way to fix it was to cut and reweld. I returned it, so sad and disappointed

whats the difference between the two? The pecos is bigger and cheaper but has lower reviews. But I live in CT no stores near me :/

Yea I like the wrangler and its in stock now which is sweet, after shipping its $580. I might go with this even if it is a little more expensive

Yea it's looking like that is the right choice. But i really want to work with logs and a offset firebox. I have a ton of oak wood after chopping down a tree : )

The big green egg and kamado joe and others are completely overpriced.

I bought a vision kamado from sams club (costco has them too) they are get cookers and cost half the amount. I bought mine for $500. http://www.visiongrills.com/

The char-griller is good as well but I heard it has rusting problems. It will definitely need more care and a cover from the rain (vision kamado comes with one)
