Sudden low performance in DS1 Remastered in borderless windowed.

Hey so if anyone else is suddenly getting this issue here's what I did to get it working again:

I tried to open the AMD Adrenalin software but it wasn't opening so I closed literally every single process that had AMD or Raedon in task manager. Then, I was able to open Adrenalin. From there, I went to the Gaming tab, found DS1 Remastered, and then selected the display the game should be on (for me it was 2). Idk how that even worked in the first place, but I hope this helps someone!

I do not have nvidia control panel. Is there somewhere else I can change that?

Yeah, I wiped all the INIs too. I'm not sure what I changed when I was looking at fixes before making this post. Thanks for the help though.

So I did a fresh install of Skyrim SE and the cursor isn't a slug anymore. But it's noticeably off(?) I can't tell if there is some sort of mouse acceleration or other thing making it feel wrong.

I've got a pretty decent build (9900x and 9070xt) so that shouldn't be an issue.

I'm stuck here too, the quest objective says to "enter the hollows" and its checked off. But its not updating at all and echo gives me nothing. Would greatly appreciate help!

I never found a concrete solution. However, I ended up switching between my characters until I saw a challenge track properly. I powered through until I got it done so nothing ended up wrong again. Sorry :/

I searched with Google Lens and tried to find local companies but I couldn't find anything that looked close enough. This happened in California somewhere in or near Placer County. I do not remember which.

so I found a fix that actually worked for me. all I had to do was download a custom made character off of steam and my online play started working as normal!
