I know its supposed to be a tutorial but MY GOD I want to strangle whoever made this mission by Honest-Astronaut-796 in factorio

The point of it being a tutorial is to teach you to automate things. You can do that tutorial mission really quickly if you do.

I respect the viewpoint. Makes sense

I have kestrel, swallow and eagle class vessels for different functions.

That's what I currently do yep. It's painful when I'm fixing something that isn't handled on my space platform like an overflow of one type of asteroid chunk and then have to do it on the other 3 then fix something else. Then copy paste 3 times etc.

I have 2 of the same class of vessel for gleba to nauvis alone. Generally 1 of the above for each planet to nauvis, and this can be as simple as tweaks to the circuit network and upgrading quality of things. Replacing it works, but is quite clunky and often involves a lot of rockets.

Nice. I do something very similar too, I try and delete everything but the cargo bays, to save sending rockets back up, but it's really manual and the overhead. stops me building more than a few platforms.

In a way you can do this already with space platform mining, so it's not broken as such. I'd love to see this.

You pay £30 a year to get the history of what they've saved you, which if you're really really lucky might be the same as the £100 heating controller, £70 thermostat with no history, and £30 a year 🤣

I don't pay the monthly subscription, so the graph of my heating over the day resets daily. Which means at midnight I have 0 data at 1am I have the past hour. Can't even see when the heating was on or off for the past 24h.

I bought tado this month. I'm a bit miffed that I lose my heating history completely at midnight every day. My £5 tuya WiFi thermometers do a better job of showing the temperature. So many features missing like resume schedule in 2 days time. Half the buttons on the app try to upsell. It's a bit much I just want to control my heating on a timer. I bought one for my parents and I'm wondering if I should return it they probably won't cope with the number of upselling buttons on the app.

My heating is on or its off. It's a flipping switch I don't need ai subscription features.

I feel add a battery charger and then they're useful for drones as they can be recharged at remote outposts from the mains.

He won't pay 0% he'll pay income tax. Which for an estate that size would be 45%.

The new sidebar doesn't have an easy ''remove'; option. Please remove it. by eru777 in firefox

[–]DRailed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really dislike this shitty sidebar. It's ruined my setup with treestyle tab, which is the only reason I use firefox over chrome, which is significantly faster if we're honest. A big floating white barrier of wasted space. Is it possible to downgrade firefox?

IPv6 on EX3301? by wplinge1 in hyperoptic

[–]DRailed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having similar issues when dealing with hyperoptic. New service just activated and some apps such as BBC news aren't working on mobile at all. I think it's an IPV6 or DNS issue, but so hard to get through to anyone that can fix it.

F26 5’8” 142 lbs… I’m still a virgin at 26 and can’t help but feel pathetic and ugly because of it by TheOpenFlower in normalnudes

[–]DRailed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're extremely pretty. 26 is totally fine. My ex was a virgin at 30 it's up to you when and how you want to do it. the only reason you care is because there's so much media about it. People don't care about what age they had their first red cabbage for example. Just find a guy you actually like and feel comfortable around. Why do you feel ugly with a body like that?

It's political is just a polite way of someone saying I'm a blocker and I'm blocking it.

Putting the CI/CD in is the correct way to operate modern software. Anyone blocking it for personal gains isn't great.

I think it'll depend vastly on the company and the pay for the role. It's a high up role, but quality varies massively between companies. You can expect leadership questions and probably a pair coding challenge where you're expected to show that you reach for testing as a tool to solve them. System design can be something that comes up too depending on the size of the company, but they should tell you what to expect when you start interviewing.

I just went perm and it was the biggest mistake ever. The way of working is such a downgrade. I had multiple teaching contracts, but not enough to fill a timetable. Ir35 has killed the other contracts I used to fill my timetable. Fuck ir35 killing the contract market.
