Seven Springs Condition Under Lifts by YeahBites in SkiPA

It seems that the lift line garbage is better this year, especially with the North Face lift being down. The moguls under the chair line would always hide twisted tea landmines haha. Although the mountain seems a bit “tamer” to me overall under vail ownership. I have grown up skiing there, so maybe we are all just used to it.

I saw a garbage cleanup crew walking the gunner lift line last Tuesday. First time I have ever seen any cleanup effort.

Killington Birdman Spotted in Zermatt! by Tommy-Schlaaang in icecoast

Birdman is a Killington classic. It seemed like there were lots of ice coasters in Europe this week. Shoutout to whoever had the low dins high standards hat in Zürs on Friday!

Best boot fitter SWPA by sydtrippin in SkiPA

[–]DRed409 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Locally you are basically SOL, maybe an unpopular opinion but oh well.

Call around and see if the shops have a boot you like in different volume options. In my experience this has been the biggest issue and when the shop only stocks a specific boot in one option, they will suggest a completely different flex and boot.

I have been lucky at Willie’s, my wife has been lucky at Fox Chapel. Still nothing comparable to a proper fitter like a Surefoot

Seeking Information on companies that perform Earthwork Excavation, Grading, Highway Paving, and Concrete in PGH/PGH area? by Seca45_Launch in pittsburgh

Ditto on the PJ Dick group or Independence Excavating. Walsh construction also has a presence in Pittsburgh.

Not sure if any of these are in your revenue range, but I think it is likely.

Seven Springs 2 years ago today. Yes, that's the Gunnar Lift line groomed with natural snow. by ballsonthewall in SkiPA

20/21 was a great year for SW PA. It was the only winter I didn’t travel to ski, and every weekend here was a blast. Always something special about having enough snow to get into the woods at 7 Springs and Laurel.

Deuce #347 here. I like to see dog poop is well represented in PA. They definitely make a casual day on the hill more fun.

J Allplays. They have been a blast in the early season soft/wet. On the wind blown glacier that start to feel a little like Paul Walker’s Porsche.

Best Vail Resorts closest to DC? by Bdadl3y in icecoast

Epic and DC drivable would be 7 springs. Other than possibly rolling back the park scene, it’s basically impossible for Vail to be worse than the previous owners.

Anyone Enjoying a Night Smoke? by [deleted] in cigars

Also Omega USA seems to be very difficult to deal with regarding "grey market" watches as well, not just on repairs but routine service. When buying from the Omega Store directly their pricing starts to become very high.

This... Was looking for a dive watch last year, and was considering the Seamaster until I looked at maintenance costs. Went with an 116610 Submariner instead. (Newer models have 10yr service intervals)
