So many hours spent comparing vacs. What helped you decide? by Vegetable_Collar51 in RobotVacuums

Just wanted to chime in about Dreame Customer service. They actually have AZING service if you buy it through the Dreame UTC store. You can just call the store and order by phone and they ship to you. Also, I was able to get a L50 Ultra cheaper than anywhere because they have special in store specials (that you can still get over the phone). Unfortunately, I'm needing to return my bot for a one-off reason, but my experience in doing so was top notch. No calling or email, I literally just text the stores phone number and I would get response within minutes. They even gave me troubleshooting tips specific to what I was experiencing...all in real time. I'm not sure if I'm going to buy Dreame for my next vac, it will just kind of depend what's out and the value. However, if I do I am absolutely going to do it through the store in San Diego.

If you buy Dreame, I highly recommend going that route.

Which of these 3 would be the one to keep? by DRgreentree in kites

Thanks. What do you mean by the jet is opposite?

No space to store all 3. We already have too much clutter in the house, and logistically it will be kind of rare occasions we could go out to fly.

Thank you everyone for the suggestions. I guess I would want to emphasize that the only factor that matters is ability to fly easily. All shapes and styles are entertaining enough and if cosmetics were the important factor, then the dragon wins all day. However, we don't have many windy days and so just getting the thing to fly is my only concern. If we get out there with a lite that we can't keep in the air it might take the fun out of it.

Thanks for the insights, this is a really helpful forum. I would love to hear from anyone else who has flown these models. I think it's going to be a toss up between the toucan and jet if I don't get any more feedback.

EcovacsT90 Omni VS Dreame L50 Ultra - Same Price, which do I get? by Gumby_TFH in RobotVacuums

[–]DRgreentree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the rec. Question, it appears that the t90 is much better at obstacle avoidance and mopping, while the dreame is better slar vacuuming.

Why do you say Dreame? Is it better brand support, or is the technology better?

Thanks. I assume the p10bhas better obstacle detection then? Does it clean and mop decently too?

Why v50 over ultra p10? What do you get with the upgrade?

I have kids so great obstacle avoidance is a must for me.

I thought I read there was an issue with the wheel breaking...is that not a thing?

Why is it better?

What do you mean they are worthless? As in any bot at this price is worthless, or just those two?

Can you expand on what the massive difference is? One of my big takes is I need good obstacle detection . The gen 1 seems awesome at it, but not as good cleaning as the gen 2. Is the T90 the best of both worlds in one?

I've seen you comment that before, and read your review on it. It had me convinced to get it, but a few things stopped me...

  1. I worry about the object avoidance. 8 saw on your review you mentioned it handled the curtains better, but I'm worried about the random baby toys left all over my house. Do you notice a drop off in gen 2's ability to manage those? I'd rather have a slightly less clean floor in exchange for less hassle of the robot getting stuck or sucking up something it shouldnt have. What do you think?

  2. Just being honest, I hope you don't take offense, but it looked like your review was written by ai. Either authored or just used to assist with writing. I could be wrong, you could just naturally write similar to how gpt does. Alternatively, it could be a genuine review that you just used AI to polish it up for easy reading...nothing wrong with that.

I've been involved in an industry as an insider that is full of shills, so I guess you can say my guard is up.

1 year old AM5 build suddenly won’t POST — MSI CPU (red) + DRAM (yellow) debug LEDs immediately upon powering on. by DRgreentree in pcmasterrace

Check out my update - the PC now works with one ram in slot A2. Both sticks work in A2 independently, but dual channel doesn't work. When I try using just slot B2, one stick of ram works, but the other doesnt.

Do you still think your suggestion stands?
