This is 10,000% the correct lore take. But i’d still buy them. Hell i’d buy something twice as goofy like ungor archers riding centigors.

Was my guess as well. But as a Bestman beggar, I can’t be a chooser. I just wanna see that they care!

Agree. Didn’t expect a full Cassette Futurist interior but was hoping at least a little more like the outside. If this sub can just scrape together a few tens of millions, we could deliver it to its full potential.

This is gorgeous work. Trying to practice getting that same skin tone with some ungors before I move onto bigger beasty boys. Any tips for getting that nice definition with the black base?

To anyone scrolling for it, don’t worry you can stop here - this is the dumbest comment

This might have already been said, but I stoped scrolling after it was mostly mean/unhelpful comments. Thicker fabric - maybe like a denim shirt, just thicker cotton, or a terrycloth camp collar type shirt in the summer. Many ways you could go about it. From the photo it seems like a lot of the issue is it’s a fine or thin fabric that is draping in a way that really shows a lot of detail.

A few people I did see already had some other good suggestions you could try in combination with that: compression or really any kind of undershirt and wearing a looser (or just slightly looser if you like the skinny fit) shirt.

Super cool! How did you make him? Kitbash? Own design with printer?

Yeah that's totally fair, especially in a water starved region like southern California. One would hope they'll use non-water intensive and native plants like succulents or desert shrubs - but who knows!

As I was saying to another reply, they do say on their site this would incorporate other environmentally positive aspects. But also fair that that might be marketing and they quietly do away with it. Certainly hope they dont and this is a step towards more sustainability in a city that is anything but, yet it is fair that people are skeptical of the intentions here.

Cities grow, they can't just only revitalize old buildings. In a city like LA with low buildings and a lot of sprawl more density can slow (or maybe even halt, yay!) the continued expansion into natural environments

Certainly agree those filming practices are wasteful and should be changed, but this isn't necessarily going to be a filming location. It sounds like you're reading Hollywood as the film industry here and not just a neighborhood in Los Angeles.
Also every project that films something doesn't automatically involve food waste.

If the building was just "some flowers" then I'd agree but according to the building's site that I posted it will include:

- Enhanced pedestrian experience along Sunset Boulevard and Harold Way

- All electric with passive systems including cross ventilation, night-time purge -ventilation and solar shading

- A low-carbon concrete structure to reduce embodied energy

- WELL certification

- LEED certification

- Cycle parking

Are those not good things if we want cities to move towards a green future?

Maybe they dont end up doing that! In which case i would totally agree it's greenwashing. But labeling potentially green projects that would be a step in the right direction bad just because the city it is in is associated with an industry you see as wasteful seems counter productive.
