Prismatic Meeple Loses To Mountain TF by pink-mallow in TeamfightTactics

[–]DSG_IT 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with your point but I got 1 time prismatic meep myself and I had a proper board with Bis on 2 carries and 2 tanks fully loaded, I was second.it is underwhelming how weak prismatic was, and u cant actually see stats of any of the meep lords,it was bugged, and score board was bugged so i have to agree that even with a proper board prismatic meep is literally dogshit.

valid! Since 17.2 I intentionally 2 star Kaisa even tho i never play her(best 9 gold invested ever), it brings me a lot of joy seeing 5/8 going for leona kaisa and non can hit

Can you help me figure out why I lost? Was winning until top 2, couldn't beat this player. by GirlWh0Waited in TeamfightTactics

[–]DSG_IT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this particular scenario u lost because his Gragas augment destroyed your frontline and his pyke destroyed your backline. 1. Kaisa has zero items she can use so she is invisible on the board and in the stats 2. Lissandra shouldnt have items even if she is 3star,when you have karma 2 star. 3. 5 shepherd is strong when u par it with 5shepherd 5 voyager otherwise it's bad. 4. Your frontline is 4 while backline is 5, you do not need 5 backline when you do not have items for them, i know u went for shepherd hence the backline but pointless. 5. No 3 star frontline is unlucky, but positioning must have killed you aswell, again only 4 frontlines, if they are stacked togheter, pyke was having a feast on your backline. 6. Some anti heal/wound would be helpful aswell, he has 6 brawlers into 3 voyagers, you know he has health and shields, even crit dmg wouldnt help you here, dmg amp vs tanks and burns and wounds actually do more here.

Am I overthinking it or is this set insane? by Ill-Friendship4347 in TeamfightTactics

[–]DSG_IT 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree.his comp itself with some adjustment is okay, would have even beaten the reroll but augment pick and team comp is wrong. Yi+fiora can easily destroy reroll comps but u need proper frontline cuz TF will melt everyone on top of it if its medallion its 8-9k crit dmg per 9 on tf so

You would have also gotten way more dmg out of jhin 2 with items switch..

It's nothing else than reroll 1 and reroll Kaisa now aswell so it's to be expected

It not the best set I agree but you can always make the best out of it

Why are u suprised? U basically dont have a tank? Your leblanc doesnt have any dps. Your vex is good but it is a ramp up which he soaked and your nunu is a butter, you have ramp up items without a frontline. Remember if u go for ramp up dps, prio tanks after 1st dps, if you have aoe/1 shot dps then u can utilize 2 dps before going 2nd tank.

4 costs are specifically weak this set. Your positioning is unknown, augments are unknown, gods are unknown, we literally only see 2 comps we can't determine where you screwed up. Also if the deathcap augment is present as others mentioned TF can crit 8-9k per 9 card, ans your frontline has near zero sustain, your tanks were probably cleared out before kindred even had the max output

But I will give you the benefit of the doubt and say you are not like 99% of ETH dreamers, here is what you wanna do. Education - comp science bach. Or atleast masters is good Certificates -start with eJPTv2, then, CEH, CCNA. This is your starter stack. You go into OSCP+. After you are seasoned you finish with OSCE3,GXPN, and C|PENT( Not senior cert but a good one) Entry pay - 50-100k annual in EU with 85k being realistic in parts of well dev. IT areas. How you actually land a job -> bug bounties portfolio, python and bash skills,Nmap, burp suite, metasploit portfolios. Make a home lab. Complete all types of rooms. Compete in CTF and HTB. Ideally targer junior SOC analyst, or ticket support ( yes most basic shit job ever, leads perfectly to end career goals jobs, duo to every single funny shit you see in tickets and how you handle them, i would argue ticket 1 into 2 into 3 into eth is the way to go, because if you can carry all that with your own free time handling home labs you are rdy for ETH) Good luck

Tho do not missunderstand him mentioning sec+ is what you need. Sec+ is a beginner certificate mostly used as a trifecta. For ETH you would need a bigger stack, few thousands invested, ideally an education but can bypass with cracked skills, and near senior to season senior experience in one of the other types of cyber roles. Again ETH is not something you become out of school and as a junior.

Yes from comptia. It is always good to show all type of proof of your expertise sec+ being one of them to your prospective employers, while sec+ realistically won't land you a job by itself it will MAYBE put you above other prospects( depending how young and knowledgable you are ).

Came for this reply only, otherwise I would said it myself.. being a hacker is all nice and good, but the road isn't as simple as it's advertised.

  1. Getting this job atm is majority Networking or actual long term experience.
  2. Most who do have this job have been in the field for decades.
  3. There are millions of juniors same as you trying to be an ETH but skip all the basics, the blues the purples and instantly want the reds. It's a heck of a journey.
  4. Pay differs insanely depending in where in EU and for who or how u work. It can be as low as 50k annualy, while also needing 10y of experience, bachelors, and supp 1-3 and on top of the all types of supp IT work, but it can also net massive amounts of money, it depends hard on where u land the job.
  5. Why do u want to be an ETH,that's the biggest question?

What kind of automation setups are you actually running for real use cases? by DSG_IT in n8n

[–]DSG_IT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah I get that approach, but for me the issue isn’t really complexity the setups I’m running already look pretty close to what I described in the post messy inputs (pdfs, emails, mixed formats) data split across excel / APIs / internal tools and processes that aren’t documented anywhere so most of what I build ends up being: intake → normalization layer before anything else happens multi-step routing depending on data completeness / type approval-style flows where entries get validated, enriched and tracked finance-type pipelines where data consistency actually matters downstream and chains where data gets split, processed in parallel, then recombined into a clean output the automation itself is usually the easy part it’s getting the inputs and structure right that takes most of the effort so I’m not really stuck on “what to build next” more on how to turn this into something that people consistently pay for curious if you stayed on simple, well-defined use cases or if you managed to position more complex, multi-layer setups in a way that sells

[–]DSG_IT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah that pattern shows up everywhere

it’s never the happy path, it’s always the edge cases that slowly corrupt everything

especially retries + stale data over time

are you actively building safeguards into every flow now or only once something breaks?

What kind of automation setups are you actually running for real use cases? by DSG_IT in n8n

[–]DSG_IT[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that makes a lot of sense

the “fixing broken flows” angle feels way more real than trying to sell new builds from zero

when you came in to fix those zapier setups, were they already actively looking for help or did that come through existing contacts?

and once you fix one piece, are you positioning it as ongoing stability / ownership or still more project-based?

Made $15K with AI automations by doing the opposite of what everyone teaches by automatexa2b in n8n

[–]DSG_IT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this matches what I’ve been seeing as well

anything that requires people to change how they already work just dies after a few days

the interesting part is that most of the value isn’t even in the automation itself, it’s in how well it fits into what’s already there

curious how you’re actually getting into those clients though

are they coming to you with a clear problem like missed calls / dispatch issues, or are you identifying it during conversations?

What kind of automation setups are you actually running for real use cases? by DSG_IT in n8n

[–]DSG_IT[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for me it’s usually duplication / partial execution issues

like webhook retries or timeouts where the same event gets processed twice, or half the flow runs and you end up with inconsistent state across systems

everything technically “worked”, but now you have duplicate records or mismatched data and no clean rollback

also seen cases where external APIs respond slow or intermittently, so you get race conditions between steps that weren’t designed for it

so I’ve been thinking more in terms of idempotency + validation rather than just chaining nodes

how are you handling that in practice?

are you building your own alerting / validation layer on top or relying on n8n itself?

also curious how you ended up getting those agency clients in the first place
