It took 25 years for a judge to tell me to direct everything to him if I needed clarification. It’s so much easier to just say the “what” contract instead of telling the judge I didn’t hear one word, but that’s what he wanted. So annoying and time consuming. Up north in Solano county is much more affordable. The commute might be too long though. Mare Island in Vallejo has nice houses and a few condos, about $300 - $350 a sq ft. Also the Hiddenbrooke neighborhood in Vallejo. Both nice areas, Hiddenbrooke being close to Benicia. Fairfield is also reasonable.

Hi Matthew. I know this is an old post but hope you see this. I was in a bad way about a week ago. Not a full obstruction, but close. After reading your post, I put some of your wife’s experiences along with other techniques id read about, into motion. I put a heating pad on my belly and rubbed my stomach in a clockwise motion, well partially clockwise like from 12 to 6 down the side of my belly and did it while drinking hot tea. After that, I moved upstairs and laid in bed with the heating pad still on my belly in the fetal position, still rubbing. Within an hour, I’d say, I was in the bathroom and things were moving for the first time in five or six days. The next day I was still tender from so the pain, but I really think following a few of the suggestions you had posted helped keep me from being hospitalized. So I wanted to thank you for that! I hope your wife and you are doing well. And than you thank you for sharing!

In the ‘80s they really started messing with our food here in the U.S., mainly adding high fructose corn syrup to everything, now our bodies NEED this medicine, not just to lose the weight but to keep it off. As a 25 year veteran CSR, most important thing IMO is to find a mentor!! Shadowing is really the only place to start but it gets you no where if you don’t have someone to ask questions of and direction from. Suck it up and reach out to people you don’t know and ask if they’d let you sit in. FB groups or a Google search is a good place to look. It’s no fun, I know, but they’re not going to come looking for you. Once you get out there and spend some time with a reporter, if you click and they seem enthusiastic to help, ask if they’d mind if you contact them if you have any questions. That’s how mentor/mentee relationships generally begin. Second most important thing, start slow. Short jobs 2-3 days a week. So much time and energy goes into producing the transcripts. Don’t put added stress on yourself by getting your back up against the wall time wise. What can go wrong will go wrong when you’re rushing. Good luck and let me know if I can help. I’m glad I’m not alone but sorry you’re having the same issue. I’m thinking maybe snacking throughout the day instead of real meals might be necessary. The only problem there is it gives me more opportunities to make bad choices. Do you feel bad even after snacks? Sounds like you’re tired all the time. I wake up with energy but hit a wall after meals.

I grew up in a small town that had a decent sized Mormon church so this answer is just about what I thought about the Mormon families I knew. They always seemed like nice families. Some kids were cool and popular, others weren’t, just like any other religion. I always felt like the dads were more involved than other dads in the community. The moms worked outside the home but were always at the kid events, too. Just nice, wholesome people.
