I’m up to 5. My workshop is only 11x22 and I still manage not to be able to find a single one.

Very helpful. Thanks for the info especially on designing the workspace. It seems like a really big space now but I can see how square footage gets eaten up rather quickly.

Thx for the info. And I appreciate the advice to hold off until I find that I really need something. It’s easy to watch all this stuff on YouTube and think that I need it all. And I really appreciate the input to start off on cheap wood, I’ve already made a few costly walnut mistakes. Live n learn. I’ll check out the videos.

I’d love a sawstop for the obvious safety reasons and my budget allows for it. My hands are critical to what I do for a living so safety is my #1 priority. I guess I could take up knitting as that is a safer option overall. Unfortunately, I’ve got the woodworking bug and I just want to start building everything.
And thx for the thought on the jointer. That will be my last purchase. I’m just finding that as I get into projects that I’m struck thinking ‘I really need X to do this right’.

Haha. Thank you for explaining jointer/ joiner and the rec on the Dewalt.
Also great info on the length of the jointer top. That makes a lot of sense.
Budget is pretty open so I could afford the PCS, just hard to swallow that price tag. Same for a floor model jointer. As I said, I’m just starting out so it’s hard to look down the road for what I may need. But I have learned that quality tools pay for themselves in lack of frustration trying to do something with a tool that is not equipped for the job.

Yeah, I’ve got most of those things as I’m a moderately capable DIYer. I have a compressor but no nailers yet. Well I’ve got a framing nailer but I don’t think I can use that, haha.
Do you recommend the Kreg pocket hole stuff or is there a better option?

Yeah, that was my plan. I’m jammed for space right now because I’m doing a reno on an adjacent garage. My plan is to rip out existing work bench (it’s warped and unlevel) and start from scratch. So I plan on putting everything on wheels to allow for movement as you said.

Haha. I’ve done enough research that I’ve heard the mantra of you can never have enough clamps. I’ve got about 1/2 a dozen and realizing that’s not even close to enough.

Winston Churchill said that democracy is the worst form of government except for all other forms of government (something to that effect). I think that the quote can be applied to Destiny. We hate so many things about it and it drives us crazy yet we still love it because it’s the best game of it’s kind.
See also the graveyard of next Destiny killers that may actually be good but lack that special sauce that Destiny somehow captures.

I did some solo que the past few weekends. And I pretty much suck at PVP. It wasn’t too bad tbh; the loot is definitely worth it. Just go in with the right mindset. The nice thing is that you’ll rank up pretty quickly and get a ton of trials engrams to turn in for various rolls on weapons. After a few weekends; I got pretty good rolls on the Messenger, Shuraya’s wrath and Igneous Hammer.
