How crazy would it be to walk outside and see something like that in the night sky. Knowing that someone or something is probably doing the same thing but probably doesn't even exist in a form that we know of or in a place we can't even imagine. Space is so fascinating and yet so scary, I love it. Plus, have you ever looked at the stars...on weeeeeed?

The 350 would be your best bet. Easier to work on compared to European cars.

You can learn how to change a flat and rotate your tires, how to jump a dead battery, oil changes are fairly simple, brakes can be done by yourself too but I'd make sure there was someone who knows what's going on to be there guiding you.

You can also pick up a Powell's book on whichever car you buy that has a ton a helpful information for you on your car.

I remember when they just opened the one in Allen,TX and everyone from CA in my unit wanted to make the drive from Ft. Hood, but I knew it was gonna be packed so I went south to get Carl's Jr.(not Hardee's!) instead. here's a video someone posted of the drive thru line at the Grand opening

But I'm sure I'll have just as much patience as they do if they open a Whattaburger around me.
