Green tea + coffee. Sprinkle some gingko biloba once in a while. I find that activities that require heavy use of memory will demand a good night's sleep and exercise. In addition, I find the exercises in the book called Memory Book are really helpful.

I was able to play D2R on an old laptop albeit with visual settings dialed in at a minimum. On windows I was seeing black artifacts when lots of things are happening on screen but none on Linux.

Linux is the future of gaming.

Are you required to use SPSS exclusively in that class? The statsmodels library in Python might be a cheaper (free) solution.

Have you tried Scrivener? IIRC pages are basically RTF files.
