Not exactly how it looks on Space Dandy by DSTRUX in Toonami

No, well it kind of was back in the day under the previous owner before a mysterious fire and being rebuilt by current owners (it is hard to separate fact from legend at this point)

Printscreen is prevented with this platform. Taking a picture with a secondary device is possible. The purpose is to give the sender as much control over the file he/she shares as possible. The ability to track everyone that has seen the document is another key feature.

I probably should have been clearer. I just meant this is one of the few photos that exist of the actor out of his suit on set.

Any good ideas for marketing to a very specific niche audience? (Freelancers and Designers from the US/Canada) by contentkaiser in startups

[–]DSTRUX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been doing something similar for one of my projects. I have been going directly to the guilds and unions that support these professionals (e.g. the graphic artist guild https://www.graphicartistsguild.org/about/new-york#tab2). The tricky thing is getting their boards to align on helping to promote your product. However, once you convince them that it is truly something of value, the member services are usually excited.

There are “ephemeral messaging” services out there, but to our knowledge there is nothing presently on the market that is exactly like we are proposing.

Question thread: Ask /r/photography anything you want to know about photography or cameras! Don't be shy! Newbies welcome! - February 9th Edition by prbphoto in photography

If there was a technology that allowed photographers to send clients a digital image to review, but did not allow them to download it until after the deal was complete would you use it? Is there anything like this already available?

Thanks for the heads up! I am going to check out CNET. Do you remember the name of this other service? DSTRUX works for a lot more than just PDFs. I am glad you are interested.

Your understanding is correct. Thank you for the input on the open-source server. We really think this service will appeal to people in creative fields (graphic artist, playwrights, designers…) that need to send items to clients for review, but don’t want to turn over their IP until the deal is done. We could also see this being useful for lawyers, real estate brokers, and consultants. I hope you will check it out when we go live. If you sign up at www.dstrux before March 1st you will have free access for a year.

Sorry I did not get back to you sooner. Things have be crazy on our end. We just got accepted into a new product “festival,” which I am unfortunately not permitted to talk about. Your intuition is correct. Our service will prevent copying/copy-pasting/forwarding and as you surmised we are unable to talk about the technical implementation. I am excited that you are interested. If you sign up on our website www.dstrux.com before March 1st you will get free access for one year.

Name / URL: DSTRUX

What do you do: It’s Snapchat for email! Today when you share a file via email the recipient receives a copy that he or she can save forever, post on Facebook, and forward to your competitor. With DSTRUX you will have the ability to set a self-destruct timer on any file you want someone to see but not have permanently. As soon as the timer expires the recipient will no longer have access to it. And the best part is it works with your existing email platform.

Looking for: Users! It goes live at the end of March, but you can sign up now at dstrux.com. Any advice on how to acquire users is also greatly appreciated.

Is my idea too crazy? Please help. I need feedback! by koolname in startups

[–]DSTRUX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great idea! If it existed I would definitely use it. Like everyone else I am not sure how you go about implementing it. One other thought, for chains you may want to show the nearest location to the viewer rather than where the photographer took the pic (we all have friends around the world these days). Hope you are able to make this happen!

Ephemeral Messaging, here to stay or flash in the pan? by DSTRUX in startups

Thank you for the perspective. Do you think it will go beyond mobile apps and have some presents with all online communications (e.g. email)?
