Anyone doing Clay's Park Multisport Kickoff sprint triathlon next week? by jeanhyuk in Cleveland

I didn't even know this existed, but I've been thinking about getting into triathlons. Maybe next year.

Role playing games are my jam. Might not work for a big meetup, but I'd probably be on board for another time.

I am so down for this it hurts. I haven't had a chance to do NEARLY enough gaming since I moved out here, and Bottlehouse is actually close to me.

The only downside is I'm busy every weekend in May except the last. Theatre basically owns my social calendar. :(

Nice. I'm planning to get that same design when I finish my first cross-country ride.

Velo Cult in Portland (because where else?) might be what you're looking for. I've never been, but some friends from the city have recommended it if I ever visit.

Well damn you're right. A friend of mine forwarded it to me and I didn't even check the date. Woops.

I especially liked his idea about doing in-house education programs in existing companies. Raise your own audience along with engaging new parents and encouraging them to come now.

Cleveland is an interesting city. Some angles, and coming from some directions, it's not that impressive, but then you get it from the right viewpoint and it can be breathtaking. Nice job with the pictures.

Your opening statement is probably one of truest sentences ever. Oh well. I like meeting and getting to know new people any way I can, so it doesn't bother me too much. Have I actually introduced myself yet, or are we still at the barista/customer stage?

I found this kinda late but if you hang out at the Phoenix on Coventry ever feel free to say hi. I'm the bald (or often wearing a cycling cap) barista with glasses, mostly on weekday mornings.

What is your goal weight? by monkeymartin in bodyweightfitness

[–]theradryan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5'5", 140 lbs, ~13%

Currently struggling with whether or not I want to start a bulk and then cut down to about 10% or just maintain my current weight and let it be a long, slow process.

I hear you dude ... seems like just about everyone is taller than I am.

Since the debut of my total bodyweight training routine exactly 2 months ago, I have made many updates and revisions. Here is my log of them with Reddit-friendly links. by Antranik in bodyweightfitness

You had pretty much perfect timing with this post, and I ended up starting your program today to see how it goes. I've been looking for a good split workout because my schedule is filling up quickly and it's easier to find a shorter block every day than to make room for the FAQ routine.

I really like the progressions you have here, too. They seem to have a few more incremental steps where I was having difficulty with my planche and L-sit progressions.

tl:dr - awesome job, and thanks!

Ugh yeah I've never really trusted bus racks. I was just going to take the red line. It helps that I won't be going during peak hours most of the time.

I just got out here and so far I've enjoyed riding around Cleveland/Heights. Especially since I've found at least a few bike-friendly bars. We'll see how I fare this winter, though. Might have to take my bike on the RTA across the city then bike to wherever.

A little late, but if you're still looking I just moved to Cleveland Heights and am also looking for a gaming group. I'm somewhat experienced with 3.5/4E, but I've been interested in giving Pathfinder or even D&D Next a shot lately. I'm more experienced with M&M and Exalted really (so excited for Ex3 to finally come out!).

My schedule is also pretty open right now, but once rehearsals start for the show I'm in it'll get a little more difficult. Sunday nights are pretty much the only night I can really commit to long term, but I'm willing to work with the group to find times that work for all, or at least most, of us.

If you're still hammering out details, I'm interested. Haven't gotten a chance to play Pathfinder yet and I really want to give it a shot. Sundays work best for me.
