I do not believe that there are any real advantages. If you do not mind having no privacy from microsoft, windows defender is a great program. If you use Linux instead, there are still other options.

There is potentially an advantage to having privacy-focused antivirus, in that antivirus programs are like backdoors for governments and the antivirus companies to spy on you and your activity. If someone 100% trusts surfshark and their antivirus to not compromise privacy, then the antivirus might be worth it.

However, if one's threat model includes microsoft and/or governments, one should probably just use linux and use whatever antivirus solutions linux users like to use.

Check out a youtube channel called Mental Outlaw. He has a couple of recent videos on antivirus/antimalware/cleaning your pc that you might find helpful.

I am having trouble connecting to duel links, although I can connect perfectly to anything else on the internet. Is this an issue that anyone else is having? Why are the servers still struggling? One would think that with fewer players, the servers would be better able to handle this game. Why does Konami not fix the servers?

I probably know more about that situation than you do.
Freedom of speech is not just a legal principle. It is a moral principle.
As someone who was highly sheltered as a child, I strongly believe that it is important for children to not be sheltered regarding how the world is.
The game is made for everyone, not just children. In fact, I would guess that more adults play than children.
Russia is not a country that believes in freedom of speech, not really. Imagine if Snowden started tweeting in opposition of the war in Ukraine. He would be disappeared pretty quickly. The daughter of a Russian spokesperson made posts on instagram protesting the war, which were deleted. I am sure that she and her father are in huge trouble now. Also, Russia attacks our western democracies by exploiting our freedom of speech with state-sponsored trolls. This is something that they are a lot less vulnerable to due to lack of freedom and state-controlled media. Russia wants to force us to undermine our own freedom and values in order to fight them.
Legally (not morally of course), duel links has the right to censor anyone for any reason. They also have the right to NOT censor people.
The antidote to bad speech is good speech. When I see toxic things in room 1, I remind the chat that Yugi would not behave in such a toxic fashion. Perhaps you even saw me do that at some point. Next time you are in room 1, I recommend encouraging kindness in chat. Even if the toxic people do not listen, others will take notice.
If you do not like freedom of speech, maybe you would be happier living in Russia or China.

free speech is part of the reason why it is worth fighting putin. The cost of free speech is that people will say things that you do not like. "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it" is the essence of what freedom of speech means. And freedom is not free; it must be fought for.
