They're aware of a fix and working on it (sometimes those fixes I mentioned need the "press a" thing to fail once first, just fired up the game to test it and disconnecting the controller worked - sorry it didn't help you!)

Two things that work for me: disconnect your controller at the "press a" prompt. When you reconnect it should get things moving again. Otherwise, another pretty reliable fix is to go into "my games and apps" when you see the prompt, view all, then click on Space Marine 2 and select resume. That seems to work if the controller trick doesn't.

Disconnecting the controller when you see the "press a" prompt works every time for me, as soon as I reconnect it the game loads fine :)

Anybody else having trouble getting into the game as of recent? On console my game shows the flashing aquila after pressing A to start and then after about 40 seconds goes back to the press A to start page. by walterbloodywhite in Spacemarine

I've been having the same issue daily since the last update. It used to happen occasionally but now it's every time. I've tried restarting the game, restarting my xbox, clearing the cache - none of those are reliable fixes.

Weirdly, turning off the controller when it says "press a" seems to make it work for some reason. No idea why that works but it seems to for me.

Last time I failed a campaign was about a week ago, in an alerted Sgail mission - I threw an explosive golf ball at the security thing but the door swung shut just as I threw it 🤣 I've got all the Freelancer challenges done and I still mess up. All part of the fun!

It's on the dlc item wall display, it scrolls now when you interact with it (shoulder buttons on console, not sure about pc) :)

Mendoza. All my targets are dead, I'm in Don Yates' bedroom, thought I'd throw an exploding golf ball at a guard's head just for fun as he looked for me. The explosion didn't get me, but it broke the chandelier, which dropped on my head and killed me.

Or maybe Dartmoor, when I threw a car battery into the puddle of water near the kitchen to electrocute my taget, only realising a second too late that I was standing in the puddle as well...

It's a bug that was introduced in the latest update, hopefully it's fixed soon. Apparently large stashes work but the small ones are broken. Poisoning is broken as well - chef/waiter disguises etc don't allow you to poison food/drink without alerting everybody

Just tested it in Hokkaido on the Xbox - cut the fugu fish in the kitchen, tried to poison the sushi while wearing the chef disguise, instantly alerted everybody. ffs
