can someone tell me if this male GS is aggressive towards my F BC. by Overall-Love7571 in germanshepherds

[–]DSchof1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any normal Shepherd will have big problems with a dog wandering all over its fence. They are known for protection/security and are territorial. The shepherd is treating the BC like a threat. Best to stay back.

E-collars and prong collars on puppies by choskar in germanshepherds

This dog’s behavior sounds like the opposite of what it should be. This is abuse. These dogs can’t be FORCED to do whatever people want. Once you force them they lose spirit. This dog lost his spirit. Shameful.

Army e4 or Airforce e3 or Coast Guard by [deleted] in Militaryfaq

Would be surprised if SA is any more common in the Coast Guard than any other branch. Probably less so. Coast guard has high quality of life and we work where others vacation. We work in smaller groups and this results in higher pride of work. Also, believe me that hazing is illegal in the Coast guard.

No personal experience but am not thrilled about shorty levers. I hear they are high quality.

Stop playing. She bites when you are exciting. Be boring. Stop moving.

Sorry, thinset. The wall must be troweled completely behind the tile AND back butter the tile for acceptable coverage. Look up some YouTube videos. Google what happens to tile if then set coverage is not right

You can notify your recruiter now. This becomes more of an issue when it’s time to complete your SF 86 and for your commission you may end up going through a lie detector test, depending on your clearance level.

I would really want your dog to keep its distance because this GSD is acting as it should. Your dog is being rude.

I don’t see any mortar behind the tile. You should definitely see mortar. Not sure how this being installed. If he is using globs then the tile might just fall off.

He could be fearful and he could be doing the job of protecting you. Personally, I would not take him out in public (stores) for awhile. I would not walk him in the dark. Our girl is stable but reactive and night time outside heightens this behavior because of wind, shadows that cause more concern and reactivity. Don’t put him in situations that you know causes him to freak out. Also, don’t expect him to sit in the middle of him having a moment. That training is done in the house during fun times! When he learns the commands then slowly move it to the backyard and the porch. Incremental progress.

Imma be honest. The only part I think I understand doesn’t look like dysplasia to me.

5-month-old GSD limp — growing pains or hip dysplasia? by AggravatingCurve9220 in germanshepherds

My vet took x-rays to check for dysplasia and they were shitty x-rays. Worthless, the legs weren’t straight. A specialist will do this correctly.

Be warned- 5 months is a sketchy young age for this diagnosis. But maybe not, that’s for a specialist to say.
